𝐀t Kabala Campus English Club Learning 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞. 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐬.
On Saturday, March 14th, 2026, we had the privilege of hosting a highly impactful 𝐀𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞. 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬-𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐝 “𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭.” The session was delivered by Dr. Hamani Iknane MAIGA, PhD in Management Sciences and a specialist in Human Resources Management. This enriching initiative was organized by the Kabala Campus English Club in collaboration with the American Corner Kabala.
The workshop officially began with opening remarks from Abdoulaye Abou Coulibaly,Manager of American Corner Kabala. He emphasized the value of such training opportunities and encouraged participants to remain focused and fully engaged in order to maximize their learning experience.
Throughout the session, Dr. MAIGA provided in-depth guidance on key professional tools and strategies. He explored the concept of the Curriculum Vitae, highlighting its importance, purpose, and the elements required to design a powerful and compelling CV. Participants were also introduced to the different types of CVs and how to tailor them effectively.
In addition, the workshop addressed one of the most critical stages of professional integration: the job interview. The trainer detailed the various types of interviews, outlined practical preparation steps, and shared techniques for confidently answering common questions such as “Tell us about yourself.” He also shed light on frequent mistakes to avoid, offering participants a clearer path toward success.
The session concluded with closing remarks from the President of the Kabala Campus English Club, Dougoutigui Goïta, who expressed sincere gratitude to the trainer and the American Corner Kabala for their continuous support and commitment to the club’s development.
The event ended on a dynamic note with an interactive Q&A session, followed by group photos that captured the spirit of learning and community.
