“Heritage Remix – Our Museum, Your Experience” is our ongoing partnership project with Dom Jevrema Grujića developed in collaboration with Muzetea festival and supported by Balkan Museum Network through the Headley Heritage Fund for Southeast Europe.

We are happy that Ms. Vasilka Dimitrovska, our Creative Director at HAEMUS, serves as both an interpretive trainer and consultant on this project.

Our Museum, Your Experience – Heritage REMIX is doing exactly that at the Dom Jevrema Grujića in Belgrade, and we're excited to share our progress!

📖 3 new visitor narratives written — personal, emotional, and rooted in the real history of the house

📱 5 Reels produced and a dedicated social media campaign underway

Architecture as a collective memory 🏛️✨

Recently, HAEMUS had the pleasure of guiding and supporting a specialized group from Italy focused on brutalism, modernist architecture, and the socialist heritage in Macedonia. This professional study tour was organized by“Kukushka Tours” in cooperation with Kreaktiva Storytelling Studio.

Some people travel to see a city.
Others travel to understand:
👉 why the concrete speaks,
👉 why the monuments look as if they arrived from the future,
👉 and how architecture becomes a collective memory.

The core approach of HAEMUS relies on contemporary heritage interpretation principles. We design experiences where visitors are not just passive observers, but are encouraged to truly "read" the architecture, comprehend the historical context, and understand how space reflects an era, an ideology, and its complex history. This is the moment when heritage stops being just an object and becomes a meaningful personal experience.

It is always inspiring to work with professionals and travelers who genuinely value heritage as a living narrative. To ensure sustainability, our programs consistently involve local communities and integrate authentic "from farm to table" gastronomic experiences.

🙏 We express our deepest gratitude to all the local institutions and museums in Skopje, Prilep, Kruševo, and Veles who opened their doors and helped realize this experience professionally and with genuine respect for heritage.

A few months ago, UNESCO published a statement by Vasilka Dimitrovska, Creative Director of HAEMUS, in the context of a regional training dedicated to safeguarding intangible cultural heritage in the Western Balkans, held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

She participated on several levels: as a bearer of the Martinki tradition, inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage; as a grantee of a UNESCO programme through which her project "Reviving Via Egnatia" delivered intensive heritage interpretation training in Albania; and as a professional engaged in the research, safeguarding, and interpretation of Macedonia’s intangible cultural heritage.

Во април Креактива организира сертифициран курс по интерпретација на наследството.

Оваа 40-часовна, практична обука е наменета за сите што секојдневно ја раскажуваат приказната на нашето природно и културно наследство и работат директно со посетители.

Курсот е наменет за:
музејски и туристички водичи, ренџери, занаетчии, винарии, семејни фарми, угостители, членови на граѓански и културни организации, фолклорни друштва, дестинациски менаџери и мали креативни бизниси –
👉 за сите што создаваат вистински доживувања.
