The Youth Council of the US Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia is a national representative within the global network of Youth Councils established by the U.S. The Youth Council is made up of talented youth from different disciplines, interests, ethnic and religious backgrounds with a mission to generate creative ideas and projects to empower the youth of North Macedonia. Through various i

ndependent projects, we aim to provide platforms for expression and collaboration to the youth of North Macedonia. Besides our scheduled projects, we also organize ad hoc events and we are more than willing to cooperate with other young people that take an active role in the civil society. Besides this mission, we also strive to deliver the voice of the youth of North Macedonia to the U.S. We do this through regular meetings with representatives on a wide spectrum of issues pertaining young people from North Macedonia.

❗️Join “The House in Session - Youth Legislating the Future”, a one-day student simulation of the U.S. House of Representatives. Step into the shoes of lawmakers, debate real issues, draft amendments, and vote on a bill in a fast-paced, interactive format.

Chargé d’Affaires Nicole Varnes officially opened the Startup Academy – HYPE, a three-day program organized by and the other American Corners, and the at the University Goce Delchev in Shtip.

HYPE brings together around 40 high school and university students (ages 16–20) from North Macedonia to develop entrepreneurial skills, spark innovative ideas, and build lasting friendships.

The participants also strengthened their public speaking skills with Vanessa Bordo Flannes from the Public Diplomacy Section in the US Embassy.

We are looking forward to what the other days will bring! 🤩
