🐾💔 SKIPY NEEDS YOUR HELP AGAIN 💔🐾

❤️ EHRLICHIA TREATMENT COMPLETED ❤️

Our gentle giant has finished his Ehrlichia treatment, and we are so proud of him.
But Skipy's journey is far from over.
💔 His X-rays revealed an old fracture.
After careful assessment, vets believe surgery could cause more harm than good. Instead, Skipy will need pain relief, supplements, monitoring, and ongoing supportive care.
He still limps.
He still needs treatment.
And he still needs time.
A lot of time.
The hardest part?
🏥 QUARANTINE MUST CONTINUE
Skipy does not understand why he cannot leave.
He only knows that his freedom has disappeared.
Many of you will remember that Skipy survived the public shelter only to be returned to the streets. We later discovered he was microchipped and that his real name is Skipy.
A dog with a name.
A dog who once belonged somewhere.
A dog who somehow ended up forgotten.
Despite everything, we are finally seeing small signs of progress.
And that gives us hope. ❤️
