Last summer, we spent time together with other youth workers in Latvia while exploring how to support youth workers with children or young parents. This year we continue our collaboration and we are bringing the opportunity to participate in two international activities:
1. Study visit in France from 30 May to 5 June
and
2. Training course in Latvia from 23 to 30 October. Note: This activity will also be open to youth workers and their children.

The training course "Open Your Eyes" 2025-1-BG01-KA153-YOU-000303719 was organized by Сдружение НИЕ - "Association NIE"
and brought together 36 people from Serbia🇷🇸, Romania🇷🇴, North Macedonia🇲🇰, Hungary🇭🇺, Spain🇪🇸, Italy🇮🇹, Lithuania🇱🇹 and Bulgaria🇧🇬.

In September, we participated in the event organized by Zelenata Arka within the project 'Community Empowerment through Community Gardening' supported by the International Visegrad Fund in the community garden in Novo Lisice.

It was a great day full of cooking, workshops and music. You can check out the short video and enjoy the atmosphere a bit.

Moreover, we had the opportunity to contribute to the event a bit and share our knowledge gained during the Erasmus+ supported project 'A Bigger Village' and make the children especially happy by our bubble-making activity.

Storytelling, theatre, working on new project applications and especially children. Keywords describing the experience of being part of the international partnership building activity 'A Bigger Village' organized by PPiepildīto sapņu istabain Latvia.
During this PBA, we had an opportunity to visit youth centres in Liepaje and learn that young people have a space that they can access any time, and that means also during the night. How is it possible? Simply, trust.
We also learned about ways of working with teenage parents. Thank you LEJO
And we learned that even in youth work, becoming a parent often means moving to administrative work or leaving the sector.

Nevertheless, now we have a few ideas on how to maybe change it. Thank you to all for such an experience. ..
