On 6 May 2026, the 𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐑 community gathered in Tartu, Estonia for the COST Action Management Committee (MC) meeting and Working Group (WG) meetings

These sessions served as an important platform to:

🔹 Review progress and key achievements of the 𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐑 network
🔹 Coordinate ongoing research across Working Groups
🔹 Strengthen collaboration among partners
🔹 Define next steps and future priorities

👉 Green Growth Platform (GGP) actively contributed to the discussions, with participation in WG5 and WG6 related to sustainability assessment, policy alignment, and pathways for translating research into practical and policy-relevant solutions in the context of the circular bioeconomy and sustainable systems.

The meetings highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation and coordinated action in advancing fiber valorisation and supporting innovation across Europe.

📅 На 06.05.2026 година се одржа нова практична обука во рамките на АГРО-ТЕХ-БИЗНИС АКАДЕМИЈАТА, организирана како дел од проектот „𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞“, насочена кон примена на современи технологии и иновативни пристапи во прецизното земјоделство.

🌱 Работилницата „Исхрана на растенија“ опфати теоретски и практичен дел кој беше фокусиран на современи методи и практики за правилна прихрана на земјоделските култури.

✅ Во теоретскиот дел беа обработени теми поврзани со макро и микроелементи, фази на исхрана кај растенијата, видови на ѓубрива, симптоми на недостаток на хранливи материи, како и принципите на прецизна прихрана (VRA – Variable Rate Application).

📚 Учесниците стекнаа знаења и практични вештини за препознавање симптоми на неправилна исхрана кај растенијата, подготовка на план за прихрана и примена на технологии за прецизна растителна исхрана.

🚁 Практичниот дел вклучуваше мерење на хлорофил со користење SPAD метар, како и демонстрација на прецизна апликација на ѓубрива со дрон опремен со ѓубрерастурачка. Преку директна работа на терен, учесниците имаа можност да се запознаат со придобивките од дигиталните алатки во оптимизација на земјоделското производство.

👨‍🏫 Обуката се реализираше во интерактивна атмосфера со активна вклученост на учесниците и практична примена на стекнатите знаења во реални услови.

📅 On 06.05.2026, a new practical training session was held within the AGRO-TECH BUSINESS ACADEMY, organized as part of the project „𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞“, focusing on the application of modern technologies and innovative approaches in precision agriculture.

🌱 The “Plant Nutrition” workshop combined theoretical and practical sessions dedicated to modern crop nutrition management.

✅ The theoretical part covered macro and micro nutrients, plant nutrition phases, fertiliser types, nutrient deficiency symptoms, and the principles of precise plant nutrition using VRA (Variable Rate Application).

📚 Participants gained knowledge and practical skills in recognising symptoms of plant malnutrition, developing plant nutrition plans, and applying precision nutrition techniques in agricultural production.

🚁 The practical session included chlorophyll measurement using a SPAD meter, as well as a demonstration of precise fertiliser application using a drone equipped with a fertiliser spreader. Through hands-on field activities, participants were introduced to the benefits of digital technologies for improving efficiency and optimisation in modern agriculture.

👨‍🏫 The training was carried out in an interactive environment with active participant engagement and practical application of newly acquired knowledge in real-world conditions.

🌿 𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫 Conference 2026 - Extraction Methods for Valorising Fibers in the Circular Economy

We are pleased to reflect on the successful completion of the 1st 𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫 International Conference, held on 4–6 May 2026 in Tartu, Estonia.

Bringing together a diverse community of researchers, experts, and stakeholders, the conference provided a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange on:

🔹 Fiber valorisation from waste and by-products
🔹 Green extraction and processing technologies
🔹 Biopolymers and advanced materials
🔹 Health, bioactive properties, and food applications
🔹 Fermentation and novel food ingredients
🔹 Scale-up, sustainability, and policy perspectives

The rich programme included keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, and interactive discussions, fostering collaboration and advancing innovation in the circular bioeconomy.

A highlight was the strong interdisciplinary engagement and the exchange of cutting-edge research contributing to more sustainable and resource-efficient systems.

Green Growth Platform (GGP) was actively involved in the conference, contributing with a role of moderating Session 6: Fermentation, Single-Cell Proteins & Novel Food Ingredients, supporting dialogue on innovative food systems and bio-based solutions.

Овие активности беа дополнети со практични насоки за правилно користење на геопросторни податоци и сензори, со цел попрецизна и поинформирана интерпретација на резултатите.

📅 On 29.04.2026, the third day of the AGRO-TECH BUSINESS ACADEMY was held, featuring a hands-on training session within the project „𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞“.

🛰️ The session “Soil Analysis and Interpretation of Results Using Geospatial Data and Sensors” focused on modern approaches to soil quality assessment. Through field-based work, participants learned how to properly collect soil samples — selecting representative locations, determining appropriate depth, and preparing samples for analysis. These activities were complemented with practical guidance on the effective use of geospatial data and sensors, enabling more accurate and informed interpretation of results.

👨‍🏫 The session unfolded in a dynamic and interactive setting, with participants actively engaging, asking questions, and applying newly acquired knowledge in real-world conditions.

Kicking off collaboration and talent engagement, the 𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄 project held its first consortium meeting on 27 March 2026, bringing together over 60 participants online.

The session aligned partners on the project roadmap, workflows, and key priorities for the coming months. It also welcomed the first cohort of 𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄 talents, introducing them to the programme structure and supporting their integration into the community.

The meeting marked the launch of initial training activities, featuring sessions on Open Science and Citizen Science by Prof. Robert Morris, and on Gender Equality, Intersectionality, Cultural Competence, and Diversity Management by Prof. Alessandra Viviani.

A strong starting point for collaboration, learning, and future project activities.

We are pleased to share that the 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 “𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐀𝐒𝐏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔)” was successfully held on 16 April 2026 at the Faculty of Agriculture, UGD – Štip [🌐 Земјоделски факултет - Универзитет „Гоце Делчев” Штип]

As co-organizers of this important international event, Green Growth Platform (GGP) led the Carbonica Community Outreach Event, bringing together a diverse group of researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders.

🎤 O͟p͟e͟n͟i͟n͟g͟ h͟i͟g͟h͟l͟i͟g͟h͟t͟s͟

The event was officially opened with keynote addresses from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at UGD, who emphasized:
✔️ The strategic importance of agriculture for national development
✔️ The need for stronger science–policy–practice collaboration
✔️ The role of innovation, education, and research in advancing sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture
✔️ Commitment to aligning national priorities with EU green and climate policies

🔹 Focus of the Carbonica session:

Building a national stakeholder network for carbon farming and sustainable soil management

💬 The discussion highlighted:
✔️ The role of carbon farming in climate policy and practice
✔️ Innovative solutions for sustainable soil management
✔️ The importance of multi-actor collaboration and stakeholder engagement
✔️ Opportunities to strengthen national and regional cooperation networks

ASP 2026 once again confirmed its role as a key platform bridging science and practice in agriculture, fostering knowledge exchange and promoting innovation across the sector.

🌱 Агро-Тех Бизнис Академијата започнува!

Денес го одржавме првиот воведен состанок со учесниците на Агро-Тех Бизнис Академијата, каде што имавме можност да се запознаеме, да го претставиме проектот и детално да ја презентираме наставната програма.

Академијата опфаќа интегрирана едукативна програма која комбинира теоретска и практична настава, односно 8 работилници и 10 практични сесии во периодот од 22.04 до 16.06.2026 година, кои ќе се одржат во с. Амзабегово, Св. Николе.

Им посакуваме успешен почеток на сите учесници и им честитаме за нивната мотивација и посветеност! 👏

🌱 The Agro-Tech Business Academy is launching!

Today, we held the first introductory meeting with participants of the Agro-Tech Business Academy, where we had the opportunity to get to know each other, present the project, and provide a detailed overview of the curriculum.

The Academy is an integrated educational program that combines theoretical and practical learning, covering 8 workshops and 10 practical sessions from April 22 to June 16, 2026. The sessions will take place in the village of Amzabegovo, Sveti Nikole.

We wish all participants a successful start and congratulate them on their motivation and dedication! 👏

We are confident that this academy will bring new knowledge and practical skills, contributing to the development of future professionals in sustainable and digital agriculture.
