Eden - Tourism Cluster of South West Macedonia The region has excellent conditions for active tourism.

Additional to the rich cultural heritage, the lakes Ohrid, Globochica, Debar and Kozjak Lake, rivers, mountains, rich forests and scenic villages, a continental – Mediterranean pleasant climate provides an excellent base for moving in the region at any season. In the past years, efforts have been made by various stakeholders in improvement of existing and development of new recreational activities

. Thus, there are functional offers for diving and sailing in Ohrid Lake, paragliding, fishing and hunting in the whole region. Marked hiking and mountain biking trails have appeared in the National park Galicia and the wider micro region.
