My dear friends, I know I don’t post often, but as some of you know, I moved and haven’t lived in Ohrid for almost two years.
About a month ago, I visited Ohrid, and from the moment we arrived on our street, there was a mother dog with six little puppies—it was heartbreaking. My visit was short, and I tried asking people around for help, but I was simply ignored.
The mother has now been neutered, and after the operation she stayed at our house to recover. That’s when things started getting difficult for us, because she now comes to sleep in our yard, and the little ones follow her. They are 5 and getting bigger and we have two dogs of our own. :(
The puppies have had their first vaccination, and they will soon get their second. They are about five months old—very sweet and gentle little souls who just want to belong to someone and have a home of their own.
I am asking for your help. Please share this post, and ask your friends or family if they might be willing to give one of these sweet souls a chance.
I will update with pictures and more information about each of the dogs. The difficult part is that I cannot ask my partner to handle the situation it’s simply too much for him at the moment, and I’m not there to deal with the situation myself.
Any support from organizations or rescue groups would also be very welcome.
