AgroYouth started as an idea to have one project in the agricultural field that will allow youngsters from Europe space to talk about rural development and agriculture. Today, we have implemented 2 AgroYouth editions in Croatia, 3rd AgroYouth edition is ongoing in Macedonia and the project will continue in future for sure. AgroYouth exchanges allow partner organizations to send young people abroad

to learn more about agriculture, rural development, how to generate income from agribusiness and where to search for opportunities. Youngsters who take part in these youth exchanges improve their skills, broaden their knowledge, are motivate to start working in rural areas, exchange best practices, and in addition they learn more about other countries. The first project was implemented in Murter, Croatia in 2017; second edition was implemented in Tisno, Croatia in 2018 and Third edition will happen in Strumica, Macedonia in 2019.

👊 Happy to announce that our projects soon travels to Turkey and gets its Turkey Edition!

🧲 AgroYouth - Turkey Edition, a follow up project, will be implemented in Nevsehir, Cappadocia in the period 24/02 - 05/03. Youngsters from Turkey, Macedonia, Romania, Croatia, Italy, Portugal and Czech Republic will continue the mission of the project and implement the Turkey Edition together.

Our Story

The project AgroYouth its more than just one project. The story began in 2017 when our organizations allowed 25 youngsters from Europe to come together in Murter to exchange ideas about agriculture. What started as one youth exchange continued again in 2018 when the Second edition of the project was implemented in Tisno, Croatia. This time 36 youngsters were able to discuss rural development and develop business. Third edition is now being implemented in Macedonia. The youth exchange will host 35 youngsters from 7 countries in September in Strumica, Macedonia.

The main idea behind the projects is to motivate young unemployed people to stay in villages and start generate income through agribusiness. Participants take part in various workshops that allow them to learn more about rural development, agriculture, how to develop agribusiness and where to search for support of their business. Also participants have a chance to interact with local farmers, exchange good practice with them. The project builds connections that stay for life!
