Au nom du Secrétaire général, Président de l’Organisation des savants musulmans, cheikh
, le Dr. Abdulaziz Sarhan, conseiller et envoyé de coordination de la Ligue islamique mondiale auprès du Vatican, a rencontré ce matin le Pape Léon XIV, au siège du Vatican.

Il lui a transmis les salutations de cheikh
Alissa, ainsi que ses vœux de succès dans les efforts du Vatican en faveur de la paix et de l’harmonie dans le monde. Il lui a également fait part de la volonté de la Ligue de renforcer sa relation solide avec le Vatican et de l’élargir à davantage de domaines de coopération dans le cadre d’objectifs communs.

Le Pape a remercié Dr. Sarhan pour sa visite et lui a adressé ses chaleureuses salutations à l’attention de cheikh Alissa.

Cette rencontre s’est tenue dans le cadre d’une réunion organisée par le Pape avec des responsables religieux et leurs représentants, au cours de laquelle la Ligue a été accueillie avec l’estime et la considération qu’elle mérite en tant qu’institution islamique de référence.

Thanks to Allah swt Who has given us this great opportunity today 17th of May 2025 to organize officially a ceremony of distributing of the meanings of the holy Quran into Malagasy language which was held here in Antananarivo the capital city of Madagascar island.
Malagasy government representatives , heads of local organizations and leaders of different communities in their different ranks had honored this official ceremony.
As you know very well that we had celebrated in 14th of February 2020 the ceremony of achievement of the translation of the holy Quran into Malagasy language.

As we might know that Association of Muslim Preachers in Madagascar ( APMM) in cooperation with world organization for the science and the culture from the Kingdom of Sweden 🇸🇪 which is chaired by Dr Mohammad Shadi Kaskeen.
At the moment, Alhamdulillah we have printed 5,000 copies of this holy Quran to Malagasy language.
We therefore would like to express from our very bottom hearts our great gratitude and sincere thanks to especially Islamic Ansaar Foundation from United Kingdom 🇬🇧 who sponsored the printing of this great quantity of the translation of the holy Quran.
Certainly the Malagasy people will benefit from this noble project irrespective of their religions or communities.
This is the first official distribution of the translated Quran into Malagasy since the achievement of the project. We started today distributing the Holy Quran so that it reaches every Malagasy household, God willing. Soon, approximately 40,000 copies of the translation being provided by benefactors for the benefit of the Malagasy people will arrive, God willing. Therefore, dear ones, we invite you to participate in this blessed project so that this Holy Qur'an may reach the homes of 30 million Malagasy people. We ask God Almighty to accept our righteous deeds and yours. Many thanks to all! May God reward you abundantly.
