🎉 ECI/ECCA mobilisée pour la Journée de Sensibilisation de Masse – Projet Bandy Miabo ⚽🎭

L’association Education and Conservation Initiative (ECI) a eu le plaisir de participer à la grande journée de sensibilisation organisée dans le cadre du Projet Bandy Miabo, porté par Action Éducation Madagascar en collaboration avec la Commune Urbaine d'Antananarivo.

Cette journée riche en échanges et en partage a été marquée par : ✨ Des animations interactives
📚 Des stands d’exposition
⚽ Un tournoi de football, auquel l’équipe ECI/ECCA a fièrement participé
🗣️ Des séances de sensibilisation sur la masculinité positive, afin de promouvoir des comportements responsables et respectueux et de lutter contre les violences envers les femmes et les enfants.

À travers cette mobilisation, ECI réaffirme son engagement pour une société plus juste, inclusive et sans violence. Ensemble, continuons à promouvoir l’égalité et à dire NON aux violences basées sur le genre.

💥 Porcine Power in Action 💥

Since January 2025, the Porcine Power initiative has been implemented in Talata Volonondry, Antananarivo, in partnership with Iriko.mg Agrobusiness . A demonstration site has been established to showcase a practical circular economy model that integrates pig farming, biogas production, composting, vegetable gardening, and hands-on training. This site serves as a learning and innovation center for sustainable agriculture and renewable energy solutions.

Through collaboration with our association, the project has expanded to reach additional beneficiaries, including education centers, youth clubs, and women’s associations across our partner Global Youth Mobilization and other organizations like Global Peace Chain Madagascar . The initiative focuses on empowering young people and communities by promoting climate change mitigation, sustainable livelihoods, and green skills development. Capacity-building activities, technical training, and awareness sessions are key components of the program. Building on these achievements, Porcine Power will continue and scale up its actions throughout 2026.

ECCA Education (ECI Branch)

Seize ans après le début du leadership au sein d’ECCA FJKM Ambohitrarahaba, ce club d’anglais qui fait partie de notre Branche atteint aujourd’hui une nouvelle étape remarquable. Lors de la Welcoming Party d'hier, une équipe solide, motivée et efficace a démontré tout le potentiel du club.
Fondé en 2009 comme un espace d’apprentissage, d’engagement des jeunes et d’éducation, notamment environnementale, ce club est devenu bien plus qu’un cadre d’échanges : une véritable famille.
Avec plus de 150 membres – enfants, adolescents, jeunes et adultes – ECCA FJKM Ambohitrarahaba s’affirme désormais comme un club de référence au sein du FJKM Synodam-paritany Antsinanana.

During this 16 Days of Activism, we rise with the legend of Porcine Power, a symbol of strength and rebirth. Our project empowers girls in the reeducation center, survivors of violence, to reclaim their voices and build brighter futures through entrepreneurship. We fight beside them, knowing their light will guide our community forward. Together, we act today so they can lead tomorrow, shaping a stronger, safer future for all.

PORCINE POWER

Since September, in collaboration with Global Youth Mobilization , the European Union, and The Big Six, our association ECI launched the “Porcine Power” project at Akany Avoko Ambohidratrimo. This six-month initiative aims to empower young girls and the center itself by establishing a demonstration site focused on pig farming, compost recycling, and vegetable gardening. Through hands-on training in these sectors, the girls will gain practical skills, enabling them to start their own projects or train others once they leave the center.
This project not only promotes sustainable livelihoods but also strengthens confidence, autonomy, and leadership among youth.
