Le lauréat de chaque laboratoire international se qualifie pour la finale mondiale qui se tiendra à Berlin et gagne un billet pour assister à la conférence Falling Walls, où il aura l'occasion d'interagir avec les personnes qui font bouger les choses dans le monde de la science, des affaires et de la politique.

Falling Walls Lab is an international forum for the next generation of early-career innovators, trailblazers, creators, and visionaries. Our aim is to promote exceptional ideas and connect promising scientists and entrepreneurs from all fields on a global level. Participants are given the opportunity to participate in a pitch competition and present their research, business model, or initiative to peers, a high-calibre jury, and the general public. The winner of each international Lab qualifies for the global Finale in Berlin and wins a ticket to attend the Falling Walls Conference, where they get to interact with the world’s movers and shakers of science, business, and policymaking.

🌍 Falling Walls Lab Madagascar 2025 – A Great Success! 🎉
On May 16th, we hosted a highly successful event at Hotel Le Pavé in Antananarivo, featuring a series of fascinating and forward-thinking presentations.

Our esteemed jury included:
🇩🇪 H.E. Ambassador Oliver Knörrich
🇩🇪 Jan-Bodo Lessmann, Head of the Goethe-Zentrum
🌿 Representatives from GIZ and the University of Antananarivo

🏆 Congratulations to the winner: Edenafanambinantsoa Soamaro Evah ANDRIANJATO
for her presentation: Breaking the Wall of Heavy Metal Use in Natural Textile Dyeing.
She will represent Madagascar at the global Falling Walls Lab in Berlin this November!

Le Falling Walls Lab Madagascar (FWLM) offre un forum d’échange aux jeunes innovateurs malagasy. Il s’agit d’un concours pendant lequel des jeunes chercheurs, universitaires ou entrepreneurs présentent leur idée novatrice en 3 minutes, en anglais, à un jury composé d’experts de différents domaines. Le FWLM est ouvert à tous les domaines : les arts, les sciences naturelles, économiques ou sociales, ainsi qu’à l’entreprenariat. La personne qui remporte le concours à Madagascar se verra offerte la possibilité de présenter son idée novatrice à la finale du Falling Walls Lab à Berlin et de gagner un prix en argent, ainsi que le titre « innovateur de l’année ». Le voyage à Berlin ainsi que l’hébergement seront pris en charge par l’organisateur : le DAAD (Office Allemand d’Echanges Universitaires).

The Falling Walls Lab Madagascar (FWLM) is an exchange platform for young malagasy innovators. It is a contest, where young researchers, students or entrepreneurs present their breakthrough idea in 3 minutes, in English, to a jury of experts of different fields. The FWLM is open to all fields: natural, social or economical sciences, arts and even entrepreneurship. The winner of the contest will be sent to the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin, where he or she will present their breakthrough idea and have the opportunity to win a cash price and the title of “innovator of the year”. The travel to Berlin and the accommodation will be financed by the organizers of the event: the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).
