🎉 REFLECTING ON LENS TRAINING SEMINAR – 15 August 2025 🎉

“Situational Leadership: Applied Leadership Skills for Business Management”

Last year, LENS, in partnership with Global Polyglots Network (GPN), successfully conducted a leadership training seminar that empowered 19 youths who were facing educational challenges.

Despite their difficulties, these young people showed strong commitment and motivation to grow. Through this training, they were able to strengthen their leadership and personal development skills.

✔ Improved communication and confidence
✔ Built trust and teamwork skills
✔ Provided practical leadership tools
✔ Supported youths facing educational barriers

LENS begins its year by continuing the Youth for Change Project – Phase 2 in Doany, reaching more students in rural areas, starting with secondary school students (Class de 1ère).

🌍 Youth for Change – SDG Awareness & Leadership
Before the workshop, only 19% of students had heard of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
After the session:
✅ 78% gained a good understanding of SDGs
💪 87% are willing to volunteer
🌱 96% believe youth can lead positive change
From learning to action, young people are stepping up to lead change in their communities.

🌍✨ Youth for Change: SDG Awareness & Volunteer Leadership ✨🌍
Launched by LENS Youth Development Center

LENS successfully completed Phase 1 of the project “Youth for Change: SDG Awareness & Volunteer Leadership” — and the impact has been inspiring!

📚 What we learned:

"Over 90% of youth in Andapa schools had never heard about the SDGs before our workshops!"

After the trainings, youth became more confident, motivated, and ready to take action

Many students joined LENS to improve their English and life skills

Youth began volunteering to teach and support each other

Our classrooms are now full of active learners!

This phase showed us that SDG education changes lives and builds young leaders who care about their community.

🚀 Next step: Hands-on Projects Phase — youth will start leading real community actions!

Together, we are building informed, responsible and empowered youth for a better Madagascar. 💚
