How powerful can Doing Good be? The impact is bigger than numbers!

Across 115 countries, millions of people took part in more than 7,500 projects - and the data tells a powerful story.

💛 85.3% of participating organizations reported that people felt they made a meaningful contribution.
🤝 75.8% reported that participants formed new social connections.
🌎 288 projects were inspired by ideas from other countries.
🔗 94.7% of leaders described participating organizations as moderately or highly engaged.

Behind every number is a good deed, a new connection, a shared idea, or a community coming together to make a difference.

The data shows that doing good is not only about the actions themselves - it’s also about building stronger communities, encouraging collaboration, and inspiring more good to spread 💛

When was the last time you saw an abandoned place become a place of joy again? 💚

In Suriname, something beautiful is happening -

Volunteers from our partner organization in Suriname, Suricorps for Development, teamed up with the school staff and inspiring young volunteers to give the St. Clemens Playgarden a brand-new beginning.

First, they cleared away years of weeds and trash. Then, together with the children, they started creating colorful murals, turning walls into murals of hope and creativity 🌈🛝

An abandoned playground is getting a second chance, as volunteers, children, and the school community come together to breathe new life into a space that had been forgotten for years.

📚✨ When a book opens, a world of possibilities follows!

For Good Deeds Day in the Philippines, On Manila brought the joy of reading closer to young learners through “Library for All: Fostering a Love of Reading” 💛

At .CruzSr.ElementarySchool, dedicated volunteers helped children discover Filipino stories, strengthen their reading comprehension, and let their imaginations grow through interactive and guided activities.

And the impact didn’t end when the day was over. Each child took home books to continue their reading journey - turning one Good Deed into a lasting love of learning 📖🌱

✨ 500 books contributed by 4 publishing houses
✨ 6 public schools & 2 community organizations reached
✨ 111 volunteers who made it all possible

Because every book shared can spark curiosity, imagination, and new possibilities ✨

What can happen when a simple good deed reminds someone that they are not alone? 💚

In Amealco, Mexico, a powerful message of solidarity reached 240 homes.

Through our partner organization, Fundación Vive Mejor AC, and their dedicated volunteers who joined the “Everyone Should Eat” campaign, 240 food packages were delivered to families in the community, bringing not only essential support, but also a reminder that there is a community that cares.

Each package represented so much more than food. It carried a message of hope, a symbol of solidarity, and a reminder that every simple action of doing good can create a meaningful impact.

✨ Because when we come together through volunteering and doing good, we create a stronger, more caring world.

Every community has the power to create change - Uganda is showing us how!

Big change doesn’t always start with a grand gesture; it often begins with people choosing to show up for one another.

That’s exactly what happened across Uganda on Good Deeds Day, where volunteers, organizations, schools, and community leaders came together to empower young girls, support education, and strengthen their communities through meaningful action.

When people come together to do good, they build more than volunteer projects - they build stronger, more resilient communities.

This Good Deeds Day, Jewish Cleveland - the Federation's Volunteer Network united volunteers of all ages across Cleveland for a day of service rooted in the Jewish value of tikkun olam (repairing the world).

From sorting books and donations to gardening, preparing community spaces, and creating handmade items for those in need, every act of doing good helped strengthen the organizations and neighbors that make the community thrive.

Whether volunteering with family, friends, or meeting someone new along the way, participants didn't just lend a helping hand; they built connections and fostered a sense of belonging💙

🎶 What happens when creativity, music, and community come together in one room?

Our partner organization in Hungary, Társadalmi Hasznosságú Befektetők Egyesülete, spent a creative afternoon with children at the Children’s Health Center of Bethesda Gyermekkórház - playing, reading, making bracelets, drawing, and sharing plenty of colorful moments.

Then came the music... One volunteer picked up a guitar, and soon, everyone was singing along.

Our volunteers met inspiring children, teenagers, parents, nurses, and doctors, each bringing warmth and joy to the day in their own way.

Sometimes, doing good is simply about showing up and creating meaningful moments together 💛🎨🎸
