Can a small mountain village create a big wave of goodness?

In Mendenitsa, Greece, the answer was a clear YES!

For Good Deeds Day, our partner organization MPOREIS KI ESY TO KALO NA EPISTREFEI (You can make good come back around) gathered children from across the village - ages 3 to 15 for a day packed with creativity, laughter, teamwork, and DOING GOOD.

Through games, crafts, and imagination, they transformed simple materials into joyful creations designed to make others smile.
Every creation strengthened friendships, spread hope, and discovered the power of kindness in action.

With the support of the local community, the village became a colorful space filled with young changemakers proving that you're never too young to make a difference.

And the biggest sign of success? Before the day was even over, the children were already asking, "When can we do this again?" 😍

What happens when young people choose action? 🌍💚

Across Trinidad & Tobago and four more countries and territories across the Caribbean, the Scout Association of Trinidad and Tobago came together for Good Deeds Day 2026, proving that small acts of goodness can create a big impact.

From visiting care homes and cleaning coastlines to distributing food and clothing, and even taking the time to simply sit, listen, and connect - these young changemakers showed that doing good comes in many forms.

Their actions remind us that leadership starts with service, and that the next generation is already building stronger, more connected communities ✨

From caring for our communities and supporting local entrepreneurs to creating spaces filled with connection and positivity, the day was full of meaningful moments and shared purpose 🌱✨
