Predstavnici NVO CTDC prisustvovali su, 12. avgusta 2026. godine, događaju posvećenom posmatranju meteorske kiše Perseida, organizovanom od strane GEA Retreat.
Događaj je okupio ljubitelje prirode, astronomije i noćnog neba, pružajući učesnicima priliku da, na lokaciji sa minimalnim svjetlosnim zagađenjem, posmatraju noćno nebo i meteore karakteristične za ovaj period godine.
Prisustvom događaju, predstavnici NVO CTDC pružili su podršku inicijativi koja promoviše značaj očuvanja tamnog noćnog neba i mogućnosti koje ono pruža za razvoj astroturizma i održivih turističkih sadržaja.
Ovakve aktivnosti od posebnog su značaja u kontekstu projekta MedSkyTour, koji NVO CTDC sprovodi sa ciljem promocije potencijala za razvoj astroturizma i valorizacije prirodnih resursa kroz održive turističke prakse.
Učešće na događaju predstavljalo je priliku za razmjenu iskustava, upoznavanje sa konkretnim primjerom turističke valorizacije noćnog neba, kao i povezivanje aktera zainteresovanih za razvoj ove vrste turizma u Crnoj Gori.
NVO CTDC će i kroz aktivnosti projekta MedSkyTour nastaviti da podržava inicijative koje doprinose promociji astroturizma, očuvanju tamnog noćnog neba i razvoju održive turističke ponude.

On 12 August 2026, representatives of NVO CTDC attended an event dedicated to observing the Perseid meteor shower, organized by GEA Retreat.
The event brought together nature, astronomy and night-sky enthusiasts, offering participants an opportunity to observe the night sky and the meteors associated with this annual phenomenon from a location with minimal light pollution.
By attending the event, representatives of NVO CTDC expressed their support for an initiative that highlights the importance of preserving dark night skies and the opportunities they provide for the development of astrotourism and sustainable tourism experiences.
Such activities are particularly relevant in the context of the MedSkyTour project, implemented by NVO CTDC with the aim of promoting the potential for astrotourism development and the sustainable valorisation of natural resources.
Participation in the event provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn from a practical example of tourism based on night-sky observation, and connect with stakeholders interested in the development of this type of tourism in Montenegro.
Through the activities of the MedSkyTour project, NVO CTDC will continue to support initiatives that contribute to the promotion of astrotourism, the preservation of dark night skies, and the development of sustainable tourism opportunities.
