We’re thrilled to share that Valentina Ostojić , President of Club Alpbach Montenegro, will once again take the stage at this year’s European Forum Alpbach (EFA) ! 🎉

Valentina will join the panel “Beyond Borders: The Social Cost of EU Enlargement”, exploring the social side of EU enlargement — from labour mobility and access to welfare to the inequalities between old and new member states.

The Treaty of Accession of Montenegro into the EU is being drafted by a specialized ad hoc Working Group.

Montenegro has 15 more negotiating chapters to close until the end of this year (out of 33) while the voting in the parliaments of the member states is starting in 2027.

The discussion will look beyond the political side of EU enlargement and explore the complex reforms and economic transformation required on Montenegro’s path to EU membership. Gordan will share insights from his daily work on reform design, negotiations, and Parliamentary advocacy, as Montenegro moves closer to completing its accession process.

The discussion will be moderated by Valentina Ostojić from the CAM.
