HEKS - EPER Moldova

HEKS - EPER Moldova HEKS/EPER is a humanitarian and development organization active in the Republic of Moldova since 2004.

The latest Country Program 2016-2020 was aiming at improving the living conditions for people in the rural areas of the Republic of Moldova. HEKS/EPER resumed work in the Republic of Moldova in 2022 to support refugees from Ukraine fleeing conflict. Our mission focuses on providing emergency aid, such as cash, legal assistance, Mental health support, Gender-Based Violence response, while fostering

unity between refugees from Ukraine and Moldovan communities. Implementing activities directly and through partnerships with local organizations, HEKS/EPER ensures that both immediate humanitarian needs and long-term social cohesion issues are addressed in a sustainable manner. These projects help strengthen community resilience and socio-economic inclusion, ensuring support for both refugees and vulnerable Moldovan population.
