The international art project “Passion Sea” is
directed and coproduced by the artist Marco
Nereo Rotelli and Helga Piaget with her promotion.
“Passion Sea” is under the patronage of the
“Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco“. The work centers around the awareness,
protection and beauty of the sea. It mixes both
poetry and painting; the eyes of the artist and the eyes of the children. The proje
ct will be officially presented during the vernissage of the Venice Biennale at the cafe Florian, with an event in Piazza San Marco, edited by Marco Nereo Rotelli. There will be integration of art within different
events to raise awareness of the beauty of the sea and the problem of its preservation. The young generation is in charge of the world
of tomorrow and will help shape its future. For
this reason “Passion Sea” will focus the contest
on young people, so they become aware in their formative years, of the importance of protecting the seas into the future. Children until the age of 12 will be asked to submit their interpretation of the sea on letter size paper, through a poem, a narrative, a drawing...
Those works will be added to the events and
available in the virtual world through the website
www.PassionSea.com as well as social platforms. A paneled jury will select the most representative works to be included in an exclusive book. A documentary will showcase the thoughts and imagination of the children and the opinions of artists, poets and highly placed personalities. “Passion Sea” raises social and environmental issues but is angled on a creative and artistic matter. The project is important to the world of today and even more for the next generation; it needs to be addressed, cherished and recognized. The funds collected will serve to promote the project and be donated to the “Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco” for scientific research and different projects aiming towards conservation and protection. Let the beauty and mysteries of the sea bring out our passion for “Passion Sea”.
