What I love most about Mirleft is the slowness of life here. There is something that feels timeless here, somewhere that reconnects us with our ancestors and old ways of life. While the rest of the world races toward more and more, this village continues to remind me of the beauty of simplicity.

Here learning comes from the rhythm of the village and the wisdom of elders. Many of us worldschooling families are looking to step away from the complexity of modern life and Mirleft is the perfect place to do this!

Morocco has taught my family that communication is about the heart even without a shared language. Mirleft offers a beautiful safety where the community acts as an extended family.💙

Today we finally got full control of our new Hub House for Mirleft Cultural Cove… and we celebrated by working non-stop 😵‍💫 We spent the entire day deep cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces, and let’s just say… this was not a quick refresh. The house hasn’t been lived in for a while, so every corner came with a surprise.

We came in thinking a few things would already be handled… turns out we are now fully responsible for all the things. Every time we fix something, we discover three more. If it looks fine, it’s probably not. If it’s fabric, it’s definitely getting professionally cleaned. Curtains, cushions, anything soft is being sent out immediately.

Nayaira showed up ready to help and gave us a strong 30 minutes before transitioning into a well-deserved supervisory position 😌

I’m honestly running on steam at this point, but I couldn’t be happier for my co-hosts who are so excited for what’s coming 😍 Under all the dust, chaos, and unexpected fixes, this place is slowly turning into something really special for summer.

Hello everyone, these four dogs live in Mirleft, Morocco and they currently don’t have homes. They’ve been on the streets for too long and they need loving owners to care for them as they’ve been mistreated and abandoned. If you could be so kind as to contact us if you’d like to adopt one of these sweet babies. We understand if you can’t adopt, but if you can share it with anyone you know who would like a dog like this, it would help a lot. They already have microchips and vaccines and we will help with the adoption process as much as we can. These sweet dogs deserve a home just as much as anyone else. To get more information on these dogs please DM me directly. We are doing a project trying to get dogs from Morocco adopted and any support can greatly help our cause.

For all musical theater lovers: Let's do a full performance of Lion King!

I've finally worked out the details of a musical theater hub at Mirleft Cultural Cove Moroccan Worldschool Hub and I hope that this will be an excellent way for your child to explore Moroccan culture but also their love of theater!

This will be a licensed workshop/performance, so I will need to do things a little differently for this hub:

🎭Minimum sign up needed is 20 kids.

🎶Please sign up no later than March 1st, 2026. If we do not receive the minimum number of signups by that dates, we will not move forward as I will need time to finalize licensing and teacher contracts.

🎟The 40% deposit will be non-refundable for this hub, unless there are extenuating circumstances such as are described on our website.

🎬 Please share this notice with other worldschoolers who might be interested as I have not seen many opportunities for worldschoolers to do theater and my daughter and I are hoping to find our people :)
