The donkey museum is a cultural and eco-responsible space dedicated to this emblematic animal of Morocco. Through a collection of artistic works, books, magazines and scientific or literary articles, the museum wishes to pay tribute to this companion which was one of the greatest partners of humanity throughout its evolution. In addition to the museum's collection, and in partnership with several
associations, the museum organizes awareness-raising workshops on the importance of respecting animals and actively participates in the fight against the exploitation of certain endemic species in Morocco. As well as being a cultural space, the donkey museum is also a showcase for ecological and scientific associations working to safeguard the local fauna and flora. A store is at the disposal of the visitors to support the actions of the museum (postcards, totebag, old objects, donkey milk products, etc
The private museum features 100 artworks, including about 20 sculptures and 150 books, with the donkey being the unifying theme. Ultimately, we want people to leave this museum with an awareness of the importance of the animal and the role it has played in serving communities throughout history.
