Care Africa International (Liberia) appalls the effects of the devastating earthquake in Morocco and flood in Derna, Libya recently. Our hearts go out to the bereaved and the injured in these two countries. It is our hope and prayers that urgent humañitarian relief assistance will quickly be gathered and sent to the affected peoples.

The First Care Africa Summit for Teachers, a summit to train secondary teachers and administrators on inculcating and demonstrating care in the teaching profession was held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Care Africa International School in Muade Town, Jacob Town, Paynesville, Montserrado County, Liberia. The summit which was facilitated by professionals from the University of Liberia brought together over sixty teachers and school administrators from different elementary, junior and senior high schools in the Paynesville City area. It was sponsored by Care Arica International Liberia (CAIL), an NGO dedicated to human capacity building, development and humanitarian relief assistance. At the end of the summit participants received certificates of participation and urged the organizer to make it an annual affair.
