A celebrated figure of American cinema, Laurence Fishburne has built a remarkable career spanning film, television and theatre, from "Cornbread, Earl and Me" and "Apocalypse Now" to "Boyz n the Hood," "The Matrix" trilogy and "Mystic River." His work has earned him a Tony Award, multiple Emmy Awards and an Academy Award nomination for "What's Love Got to Do with It." Beyond acting, Fishburne has also worked as a producer and director, and co-founded Cinema Gypsy Productions, which has produced acclaimed projects including "Akeelah and the Bee" and the hit series "black-ish" and its spinoffs.
The conversation was a thread through some of his most memorable roles, tracing the choices, instincts and connections that have shaped his work across decades.

يُعدّ لورنس ج. فيشبورن الثالث أحد أبرز الأسماء في السينما الأمريكية، وقد بنى مسيرة فنية لافتة امتدت لعقود وشملت السينما والتلفزيون والمسرح، من «كورنبرِد، إيرل وأنا» و«نهاية العالم الآن» إلى «فتيان في الحي» وثلاثية «ماتريكس» و«النهر الغامض». وقد حاز خلال مسيرته على جائزة «توني»، وعدة جوائز «إيمي»، كما ترشّح لجائزة «الأوسكار» عن دوره في فيلم «ما علاقة الحب بالأمر؟».
وإلى جانب التمثيل، عمل فيشبورن أيضًا منتجًا ومخرجًا، وشارك في تأسيس شركة Cinema Gypsy Productions، التي أنتجت مجموعة من الأعمال التي حازت إشادة واسعة، من بينها فيلم «أكيلا والنحلة»، والمسلسل الناجح «بلاك-يش» وإنتاجات مشتقة أخرى.
