From 18–21 May 2026 in Marrakech, the Israr Coalition for Empowerment, Equality and Diversity, in partnership with the Global Center on Cooperative Security and with the support of Canada, convened leaders of civil society organizations for the official launch and sensitization of the Good Practice Guideline on Gender and Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) for Civil Society Organizations in the Kingdom of Morocco.
Over four days of dialogue, peer exchange, and collaborative learning, participants deepened their understanding of the Guideline, explored practical approaches to integrating gender-responsive perspectives into PVE efforts, and developed pathways for strengthening collaboration and institutionalizing good practices across civil society organizations.
Through shared expertise and collective engagement, this initiative contributes to advancing more inclusive, resilient, and peaceful communities.
Together, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering women, strengthening civil society, and building more inclusive and resilient communities.
خلال الفترة الممتدة من 18 إلى 21 ماي 2026 بمدينة مراكش، نظم ائتلاف إصرار للتمكين والمساواة والتنوع، بشراكة مع المركز العالمي للأمن التعاوني وبدعم من كندا، اللقاء الخاص بالإطلاق الرسمي والتعريف بـ دليل الممارسات الفضلى حول النوع الاجتماعي والوقاية من التطرف العنيف لفائدة منظمات المجتمع المدني بالمملكة المغربية.
وقد شكل هذا الحدث، الذي جمع قيادات من منظمات المجتمع المدني، فضاءً للحوار وتبادل الخبرات والتعلم المشترك، بهدف تعزيز فهم مضامين الدليل، واستكشاف سبل إدماج المقاربات المستجيبة للنوع الاجتماعي في جهود الوقاية من التطرف العنيف، إلى جانب تعزيز التعاون وترسيخ الممارسات الفضلى داخل مختلف المنظمات الأعضاء.
ومن خلال تبادل الخبرات والانخراط الجماعي، يساهم هذا المسار في دعم مجتمعات أكثر شمولاً وتماسكاً وسلاماً.
معاً، نجدد التزامنا بتمكين النساء، وتعزيز دور المجتمع المدني، وبناء مجتمعات أكثر شمولاً وقدرة على الصمود.
