Since September 27, 2025, peaceful demonstrations have taken place across Morocco, led by Generation Z, calling for justice, equality, and dignity.
These protests express legitimate social and economic demands: The right to healthcare, quality education, decent work, and a life of dignity.
Despite their peaceful nature, several protesters have faced arrests and violence, contradicting the spirit of Morocco’s
2011 Constitution, Article 29, which guarantees « freedom of assembly, association, and peaceful demonstration. »
We call for the immediate release of all peaceful protesters, and for open dialogue with youth instead of repression.
Their voices represent a new collective consciousness, one striving for a more inclusive, just, and democratic Morocco.

Coming out in Morocco is not just a personal choice, it can carry heavy risks.
For those who are not out, joining activism publicly can expose you to dangers like violence, rejection, or legal consequences.

Remember: activism is not only about being visible. You can also support trusted activists behind the scenes, in safer ways that still make a difference.

Your safety matters. Change needs all of us, but it must never come at the cost of your well-being.

September is World Su***de Prevention Month 🕯️

Every 40 seconds, someone dies by su***de. Behind each number is a story, a life that matters.

This month is about breaking silence, raising awareness, and showing that asking for help is courage, not weakness.

Check in on your loved ones.

Listen without judgment.

Remind them they are never alone.

If you are struggling: your life matters. Please take care of yourself and reach out for support. We’re grateful you’re here 🫂

September 23 is a day to honor and celebrate the bi+ community. A reminder that bisexuality is not “confusion” or a “phase,” but a valid, beautiful identity lived by millions around the world. 🌈

💜💙💗 To every bisexual person:
You are valid.
You are visible.
You are loved.

✨ Trauma Awareness ✨
Healing starts with awareness. Trauma doesn’t just shape how we feel inside, it can also affect how we connect with others and the world around us.

In this session, we explored how to recognize these patterns, how not to let our wounds turn into harm for ourselves or others, and how to create safe spaces where growth and healing can happen together. 💜

Let’s try not to become another layer of the trauma, for ourselves, and for those around us.

In our group therapy, we learned something important: emotional safety is not a luxury, it’s essential.

When you feel safe, you can talk about yourself, express your feelings, cry, laugh without fear or shame.

👂 Everyone needs to hear:
• I’m here with you 💙
• What you’re going through matters 💚
• You are not alone 🧡

✊ Let’s build these safe spaces between us, because words can heal, and kindness restores trust.

In our latest therapy session at Kasbah Tal’Fin, we explored something very important: the base of our personality is self-esteem, followed by self-confidence.

When self-esteem is low, people tend to become passive or aggressive. 🚩

We need to learn the difference between:

➡️ Being aggressive ≠ being strong
➡️ Being passive ≠ being kind
➡️ Being assertive = respectful and balanced

Let’s practice expressing ourselves clearly and respectfully. Let’s choose assertiveness.

🌍Around the world, we are witnessing a concerning rise in conservatism and anti-rights rhetoric from the erosion of gender rights to the restriction of freedoms for LGBTQ+ communities.

These shifts are not abstract. They are real, lived threats to bodily autonomy, visibility, safety, and dignity especially for women, q***r, trans, and intersex people.

🍉In this shifting world, we must be more careful, more intentional, and protect ourselves and each other. But we must also be bolder, louder, and more active than ever in the face of fear and repression.

In Morocco, many LGBTQ+ people grow up feeling like they can’t be fully themselves not at home, not in school, not in public spaces. The fear of being judged, outed, or misunderstood makes it harder to seek help, to heal, or to simply exist peacefully.

🌱Mental well-being is a human right, not a privilege. That’s why in 2025, one of our core goals is to help build mental health support that is safe, inclusive, and community-led by and for our people

What is IDAHOBIT?

IDAHOBIT, observed annually on 17 May, commemorates the 1990 decision by the World Health Organization to remove homosexuality from its International Classification of Diseases. Since then, the day has served as a focal point for raising awareness of the violence and discrimination still faced by LGBTQIA+ people across the globe.

This year, we’re celebrating the strength and diversity of our LGBTQIA+ communities — from grassroots to global.

We want to highlight the richness of your stories. 🎨📸⚽

Send us anything special to you art, poetry, photos, stories, sports moments, or personal reflections via private message.

We’ll share selected pieces on our socials, with privacy and care.

Let’s show the world what makes our community powerful. 💪🏽
