British Council Morocco We support peace and prosperity by building connections, understanding and trust between people in the UK and countries worldwide.

We were proud to support UK band The Haggis Horns at Tanjazz Festival, bringing two electric concerts and a masterclass that traded stories, sounds and skills between UK and Moroccan musicians.

Festivals are spaces for connection, exchange and growing creative communities.

This video offers a glimpse into the British Council's work across MENA, connecting artists, cultural professionals and organisations from the UK and the region to collaborate, share skills and build lasting relationships.

In Morocco, we work alongside festivals and partners to bring UK artists and expertise into local programmes, connect Moroccan and UK professionals, and strengthen links between the two music scenes.
Through performances, masterclasses and professional exchange, we aim to support festivals as platforms for lasting international collaboration between the UK, Morocco and the wider region.
