Dear Friends and Supporters,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the temporary closure of the shelter. Despite my deepest efforts, the lack of sufficient support and the overwhelming financial burden have made it impossible for me to continue operating on my own.
This is one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make. But please know this: my love for animals remains unwavering. I am not giving up and I will continue to rescue those who need me most.
During this pause, I will take the time to regroup, reorganize, and build a stronger foundation. My goal is to return better prepared, more sustainable, and even more dedicated to providing the care these precious lives deserve.
If anyone is interested in helping during this time, one of the most impactful ways is through adoption. Giving one of these animals a loving forever home not only changes their life , it also helps me continue this mission, even in the most challenging times.

Stacy was just a small, quiet street dog trying to survive in a world that had never been kind to her. She wandered the roads alone, searching for food and shelter wherever she could find it. But one day, her already hard life took a cruel turn.
While exploring an overgrown area, Stacy’s leg became trapped in the tight, merciless grip of a creeping plant—its thick vines wrapped around her limb like a snare. Days went by as she struggled to break free. The vine cut deep into her skin, stopping blood flow and slowly turning her leg lifeless. She was in terrible pain, helpless and alone.
When she was found , she was weak, scared, and in agony. They rushed her to the vet, but the damage was too severe. Her leg couldn’t be saved. The only option was to amputate it and give her a chance to live without pain.
Despite everything, Stacy never gave up. She healed slowly, surrounded by care and love at our shelter. Today, she moves on three legs with courage and determination, as if she knows life has finally started to turn in her favor.
But one thing is still missing: a forever home.
Stacy is gentle, loving, and endlessly grateful. She has survived so much, and now she dreams of a warm bed, a kind voice, and a family who will see past what she’s lost—and cherish everything she still has to give.

Once Black & Olga roamed the streets, struggling to survive. They faced hunger, harsh weather, and the dangers of life on the road. Now, they’re safe in a loving DIAMOND HEARTS ASSOCIATION where they are cared for and cherished. They get to enjoy sometimes peaceful walks, even on the beach, feeling the sand under their paws and the warmth of the sun. It’s a life they never imagined but now have, full of comfort, safety, and happiness.

This pictures prove their transformation from hardship to comfort and joy.

I wasn’t always called Black. On the streets, I had no name—just a wagging tail and a love for chasing bottles and balls. The beach was my escape, with its soft sand and crashing waves. For a little while, I could forget the hunger and loneliness. one day, a kind hand scooped me up and brought me to Diamond’s hearts shelter. They cleaned me, fed me, and gave me a name. Now, I sit in my kennel, wagging my tail at every passerby, hoping someone will see me. I dream of running on the beach again, with a family who’ll love me forever.

My name is Olga, and I’ve always been a queen—even on the streets. My crown might have been invisible, but it was there in the way I watched over my pack and cared for my little ones. They were my world, my everything. Life wasn’t easy out there, but I made sure they were safe, even if it meant going hungry myself. I didn’t need much to be happy. Give me a rock to chase, and I’d light up like the sun. Big ones, small ones—I’d hunt them down and bring them back, tail wagging with pride. The beach was my favorite place, where I could splash in the waves and dig to my heart’s content. For a moment, I could forget the hardships and just be Olga, the alpha queen. Now, I’m here in Diamond’s hearts shelter and my heart still full of love to give. I dream of a family who’ll let me chase rocks and swim in the sea again, who’ll love me for the queen I am. I’ll protect them with the same devotion I gave my kids because that’s who I am—a kind soul with a fierce heart, ready to find my forever throne.
