We’re here still struggling. Still overwhelmed.

We don’t know what to do at this point with very little support. How do we feed, vet, care for these animals properly, pay staff, pay for supplies, when we don’t have enough?

More dumping, more sick animals, more need. We’re afraid one day we’re not going to be able to keep going.

More puppies dumped. Please help if you can.

Lazy summer afternoons at the sanctuary.

Hot days have the dogs laying around and quiet. We don’t blame them. This heat is exhausting!

It has been so hot here ☀️

We feel like this year has been one for extreme weather—a very cold and wet winter to now a very hot summer. Maybe we’re only paying attention now that we have so many precious souls counting on us.

Anna, Elsa, Rosie, and Goldie all had a bath yesterday.

They are clean and happy. They sunbathed to dry off and are feeling so fresh.

All dogs are deserving of love and care. Our paralyzed pups especially need more care and attention due to them dragging their back legs.
