Medina Children's Library The library was founded to encourage a love of books and reading in the children of the Fez Medina. We rely entirely on donations to keep our doors open.

Started in January 2015 by a small group of neighbors and run entirely on donations, we are the only free public library in the Medina and the only childrenโ€™s library in Fez. Since opening our doors the

library has been a welcoming sanctuary where the children in our community can discover the world of books and develop a love of reading. With a specific focus on pre-readers and developing readers (up to the age of 14 years old), children may browse and read books, participate in Story Time twice a day, as well as borrow books to take home to read and share with their families. Our tiny space receives over 1200 visits every month and provides safe, fun, and stimulating sanctuary where children have easy access to age and culturally appropriate books and resources.
