Project Soar's women Empowerment Facilitators are the backbone of our award winning teen girl leadership program. Each week,

60 facilitators at 30+ locations conduct our signature leadership workshops with groups of marginalized teen girls across Morocco and Uganda. Facilitators are instrumental in ensuring the PSB program is a success in their communities. We provide each facilitator a small stipend for her time. Project Soar helps girls stay in school and avoid child marriage.

Girls deserve access to accurate information and a safe space where they can ask questions, learn, and feel heard. 💜

Back in May, ahead of the official launch of Ask Marwa, Project Soar partnered with UNFPA Maroc and to host a beta-testing workshop in Nador. Girls had the opportunity to explore the chatbot and share their thoughts and feedback, helping us better understand their needs and experiences.

Ask Marwa is an AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot designed to provide girls and young women with accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive information on menstruation and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). ✨

As we look back at this important step in Ask Marwa’s journey, here are some highlights from the workshop! 💜
