The Atlantic Dialogues The Atlantic Dialogues is an annual high-level gathering of the most influential public and private-sector leaders from around the Atlantic basin.

This annual meeting has been initiated in 2012 by the Policy Center for the New South and the German Marshall Fund of the United States. st North Africa Region (MENA). Changing mental maps and offering a platform for dialogue between the North and South Atlantic. With its 450 guests from more than 60 nationalities, the Atlantic Dialogues conference represents a unique opportunity to witness an open dialogue amongst countries in the wider Atlantic space. The annual baseline report Atlantic Currents is published on the first day of each Atlantic Dialogues’ edition. In this publication, researchers and experts from the Policy Center for the New South’s network analyze the state of Africa and the world with respect to the conference theme. Conversing on equal terms and creating space for youth. Each year, about 50 Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADELs) from across the Atlantic area, follow a two-day tailored leadership program prior the Atlantic Dialogues conference, which they join as participants.
