On Monday, April 6th, we welcomed 14 women from to Dar Moustaqbel in Marrakesh.

We are extremely grateful to them for the tremendous financial support they have been able to provide us with over the past academic year.

Throughout the day, we engaged in thoughtful conversations with our beneficiaries, discussing daily life within the institution, educational pathways, and the Moroccan education system. The guests showed great interest in the activities we offer, especially the academic support in English and French, and the way these contribute to building confidence and language skills.

After the ceremonie we explored the city of Marrakesh together, including visits to Jemaa el-Fna and the Koutoubia Mosque.

We are grateful for their interest and for the genuine curiosity and openness of these group of women.

It was a meaningful day that highlighted the importance of connection, dialogue, and shared experiences. Thank you Soroptimisten Apeldoorn ❤️.

On Monday, April 6th, we welcomed 14 women from Soroptimists Apeldoorn to Dar Moustaqbel in Marrakesh.
We are extremely grateful to them for the tremendous financial support they have been able to provide us with over the past academic year.
We started the visit with a traditional tea and Moroccan pastries, creating a warm and open atmosphere. It was followed by a meaningful exchange of gifts, reflecting mutual respect and appreciation.

Throughout the day, we engaged in thoughtful conversations with our beneficiaries, discussing daily life within the institution, educational pathways, and the Moroccan education system. The guests showed great interest in the activities we offer, especially the academic support in English and French, and the way these contribute to building confidence and language skills.

After the ceremonie we explored the city of Marrakesh together, including visits to Jemaa el-Fna and the Koutoubia Mosque.

Graag vragen wij aandacht voor het belang van gezonde, voedzame maaltijden voor onze studenten in Marrakech.

In ons studentenhuis Dar Moustaqbel bieden wij (kans)arme meisjes, afkomstig uit rurale gebieden in Zuid-Marokko, een veilige woonplek. Zo krijgen zij de mogelijkheid om een studie te volgen aan de universiteit van Marrakech en daarmee te bouwen aan een betere toekomst voor zichzelf en hun families.

Goede voeding is daarin van essentieel belang. Het geeft energie, focus en de kracht om door te zetten.

In ons studentenhuis, Dar Moustaqbel, bieden wij aan (kans)arme meisjes van 18 jaar en ouder, uit rurale gebieden in Zuid Marokko een veilige woonplek aan, zodat zij een studie kunnen volgen aan de universiteit van Marrakech. Op die manier krijgen zij de kans om een betere toekomst voor zichzelf en hun families te creëren.
