Throwback to some of our Shared Table moments

Each edition has its own setting, its own theme, and its own story — exploring olive oil, terroir, seafood, mushrooms, and more. Different inspirations, but always the same spirit: bringing people together around food, conversation, and shared experiences.

The Iftar Series

A special Ramadan edition of The Shared Table, with each gathering hosted in a different setting. At La Galerie 38 in Marrakech, guests came together around one communal table for an evening where food, art, and conversation met.

At Coworking Space , in the heart of Gueliz, the Shared Table took on a special Ramadan rhythm with three Iftar editions. Each gathering brought guests around one communal table to share Moroccan flavours, conversation, and the simple joy of breaking the fast together.

The Shared Table at Les Étoiles de Jamaa El-Fna ( Centre culturel Les Etoiles Jemaâ El Fna) came to life in the courtyard for a special Ramadan Iftar. Guests gathered around one communal table to break the fast together, sharing an evening shaped by storytelling, connection, and Ramadan traditions.

Since moving into our new 1,000 m² home in Sidi Ghanem in July 2025, Um Mami has been shaping a space designed to support a bigger vision for food in Morocco.
Today, this vibrant hub brings together a culinary school for emerging talent, hands-on workshops and immersive culinary experiences, culinary consultancy, and Shared Tables that create moments of exchange, connection, and community.

One year. Hundreds of lives transformed. Thousands of connections created.
- 240 future chefs trained
- 82 future food entrepreneurs empowered
- 40+ immersive culinary experiences hosted, from cooking and baking classes to corporate team-building events and Shared Tables
- 16 bespoke catering and private events delivered
- 3 festival participations, celebrating Moroccan gastronomy, culture and community

At the heart of this journey is a shared commitment to creating opportunities, nurturing creativity, and investing in the next generation of culinary talent.

We are proud to build this chapter with the support of the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (Dansk-Arabisk Partnerskabsprogram ), the Embassy of Denmark in Morocco (Danish Embassy in Rabat الدنمارك في #المغرب ), and PlanBørnefonden . Their partnership helps transform ambition into opportunity and makes this vision possible.
Um Mami by Melting Pot Fonden is more than a venue, it’s a living ecosystem where education, entrepreneurship, hospitality, and community come together around the power of food.
