Alnour Association hosted members of the White Dove Association for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities from Tetouan, for an awareness session about their platform EnableMe. It is designed to empower people with disabilities by providing information and services - including articles, texts, interviews, success stories, videos, and a user interaction forum via a digital interface.

A little while ago Alnour Association had the pleasure of welcoming The Tatreez Retreat, a group of 13 Palestinian women from the US and Canada. They took part in a Traditional Moroccan Embroidery workshop, highlighting the Fassi stitch, a signature technique of Morocco’s rich artisanal heritage. One of the women, Lina Barkawi, shared her newest YouTube video featuring their visit with us.

12 amazing young students joined us, along with their teachers, for an embroidery session as part of their French language learning program. At their age, discovering new cultures and learning new languages opens doors far beyond the classroom. We're grateful to be part of their journey, even for a day!

My name is Fouzia. Before starting to work at Alnour, I went through really hard times. Here I could learn and perfect new embroidery techniques like the classic Fassi stitch. With this job and accessible work environment I could become financially independent, and as I am single, I could bring my mother back with me to Marrakech to take care of her.
