PRÉSENTATION OFFICIELLE DU GOUVERNEUR NOMMÉ 2027-2028 Dr SAÏD MEZZOUR

Dans le cadre de la Conférence du District 9010 « Tunis–Carthage », tenue du 30 avril au 3 mai, une séquence officielle, le 2 mai, a été consacrée à la présentation du Gouverneur Nommé 2027-2028,
Dr Saïd MEZZOUR.
À cette occasion, le PDG Abdelfettah SBAI a procédé à une présentation introductive. Par la suite, un documentaire institutionnel d’une durée de douze (12) minutes a été projeté devant l’assemblée. Ce support audiovisuel retraçait le parcours associatif, universitaire et rotarien du Gouverneur Nommé.
À l’issue de cette projection, Dr Saïd MEZZOUR, en présence de son épouse Saïda, a prononcé une allocution officielle devant l’assemblée plénière.
Son intervention a été marquée par plusieurs manifestations d’approbation de la part des participants, traduites par des applaudissements à onze reprises.
Dans son allocution, le Gouverneur Nommé a exprimé ses remerciements au Gouverneur en exercice du District 9010, M. Khaled FOURATI, ainsi qu’à son épouse, Mme Houda FOURATI, et à l’ensemble de l’équipe organisatrice, pour la qualité de l’organisation de la conférence et pour son positionnement en faveur du renforcement des liens entre les deux rives de la Méditerranée.
Dr Said MEZZOUR a ensuite rendu un hommage à la Tunisie, à son histoire et à son rayonnement culturel et civilisationnel, évoquant notamment les sites de Carthage et de Kairouan, ainsi que la contribution de la femme tunisienne au développement sociétal. Cet hommage a été ponctué par une expression poétique en langue arabe.
Il a également souligné la convergence entre les valeurs fondamentales du Rotary International et les valeurs culturelles du Maghreb, notamment l’esprit de solidarité, d’hospitalité et de service.
S’agissant du processus électoral, le Gouverneur Nommé a adressé ses remerciements aux présidents de clubs pour leur participation significative, ayant atteint un taux supérieur à 92 %, et a réaffirmé son engagement à exercer ses futures responsabilités dans un esprit de gouvernance participative avec humilité.
Enfin, il a appelé à un renforcement de l’unité et de la coopération entre les gouverneurs en exercice et élu, M. Khaled FOURATI et M. Younes SAIH, ainsi qu’entre leurs épouses. À cette occasion, les personnalités concernées ont été invitées à rejoindre la scène. L’ensemble des participants a été convié à se lever, dans un moment symbolique d’unité et de fraternité rotarienne, au cours duquel une mise en relation des mains a été proposée en signe d’amitié et de cohésion. Cette séquence a été suivie d’une ovation générale de l’assemblée.
Après vingt ans, le Rotary Club de Fès Doyen présente un second Gouverneur du District 9010 pour l’année rotarienne 2027-2028, en la personne du Dr Saïd MEZZOUR, après celui du Dr Abdelfettah SBAI pour l’année 2008-2009.

District 9010 Conference “Tunis–Carthage” 30 April – 3 May
As part of the District 9010 “Tunis–Carthage” Conference, held from 30 April to 3 May, an official session on 2 May was dedicated to the presentation of the Governor-Nominee 2027–2028, Dr. Saïd MEZZOUR.
On this occasion, PDG Abdelfettah SBAI delivered an introductory presentation. Subsequently, an institutional documentary of twelve (12) minutes was screened before the assembly. This audiovisual presentation highlighted the Governor-Nominee’s associative, academic, and Rotary journey.
Following the screening, Dr. Saïd MEZZOUR, in the presence of his spouse Saïda, delivered an official address to the plenary assembly. His speech was marked by repeated expressions of approval from the audience, reflected in eleven rounds of applause.
In his address, the Governor-Nominee expressed his sincere gratitude to the Governor of District 9010, Mr. Khaled FOURATI, as well as to his spouse, Mrs. Houda FOURATI, and to the entire organizing team, for the high quality of the conference organization and its commitment to strengthening ties between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
Dr. Saïd MEZZOUR then paid tribute to Tunisia, its history, and its cultural and civilizational influence, notably referring to the historical sites of Carthage and Kairouan, as well as the contribution of Tunisian women to societal development. This tribute was accompanied by an improvised poetic expression in Arabic.
He also emphasized the convergence between the core values of Rotary International and the cultural values of the Maghreb, particularly the spirit of solidarity, hospitality, and service.
Regarding the electoral process, the Governor Nominee expressed his gratitude to the club presidents for their significant participation, which reached a rate exceeding 92%, and reaffirmed his commitment to carrying out his future responsibilities in a spirit of participatory governance and humility.
Finale, he called for strengthened unity and cooperation between the current Governor and the Governor-Elect, Mr. Khaled FOURATI and Mr. Younes SAIH, as well as their spouses. On this occasion, the concerned dignitaries were invited to join the stage. All participants were asked to stand, and a symbolic moment of unity and Rotarian fellowship was observed, during which attendees were invited to join hands as a gesture of friendship and cohesion. This sequence was followed by a standing ovation from the assembly.
After twenty years, the Rotary Club of Fès Doyen presents a second Governor of District 9010 for the 2027–2028 Rotary year, in the person of Dr. Saïd MEZZOUR, following Dr. Abdelfettah SBAI, who served during the 2008–2009 Rotary year.
