Yesterday, as I was leaving the vet, I heard the distressed cries of a kitten. When I went to check, I found the little one crying in pain, so I offered him some food. That’s when I noticed he had a fracture in his front leg, with the bone exposed and infected he was screaming from sheer hunger and agony.

I immediately took him inside to the vet. Someone likely abandoned him right outside the clinic, as the vet confirmed she had never seen him before. The X-ray revealed a clear fracture, but the vet decided to treat the wound and infection first. If the bone itself isn’t decayed, we won’t need to amputate his leg. Please keep this sweet little guy in your thoughts and prayers.🙏🏻

Update on our little guy, Kai 💚
Thank God, he has made great progress and recovered from mange! He’s eating really well, playing a lot, and his constipation is completely gone.

I’ve noticed he isn’t standing on his legs much right now. When I first rescued him, he was only stumbling due to his pelvic fracture, so this is a bit different. He has another vet checkup scheduled for the day after tomorrow to assess his progress and check his legs and pelvis again.
