On 19 August, we will officially launch the new online course 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 during the COP17 official side event:

The course is the result of a truly collaborative effort, led by United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, IDMP (Flood and Drought Management Programmes), GWP and International Drought Resilience Alliance (IDRA), with 28 experts and contributors from 19 partner organisations bringing together knowledge, practical experience and perspectives from around the world.

At the session, we will explore how capacity development, collaborative learning and Communities of Learning and Practice can help countries move from reactive response towards proactive .

We will hear from course contributors and partners, share what we learned from our first online course, and discuss how we can scale through online learning, regional training, peer exchange, and institutional partnerships.
