AmCham Morocco is a non-profit, non-government organization that represents American and Moroccan businesses and individuals. The chamber’s mission is to provide support to businesses, Moroccan and American, in expanding their opportunities in each market through advocacy, information, networking, and business support services. AmCham Morocco was established in 1966 by a group of Moroccan and Amer

ican businesses under the auspices of the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. AmCham membership totals 220 members, of which 55% are Moroccan, 40% American, and 5% other nationalities. The Chamber receives no governmental, outside financial support, or subsidies. The Chamber is governed by an elected Board, comprised of the presidents of leading U.S. companies established in Morocco and of Moroccan companies doing business with the U.S. The Chamber’s annual workload is accomplished through three standing committees with different focuses: Trade and Investment, U.S.-Morocco Business Concerns, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

📢 AmCham Morocco was thrilled to welcome a delegation from USA Pulses, formerly known as the USA Dry Pea & Lentil Council, for a productive exchange on future collaboration opportunities. The visit highlighted USA Pulses’ interest in expanding their footprint on the African continent through the potential opening of a regional office.
The delegation outlined their plans to promote and market a variety of pulse products—including dry peas, lentils, chickpeas, and pulse-based ingredients—across African markets. They also emphasized the importance of building local capacity by supporting training programs in food and nutrition, and expressed a strong commitment to partnering with the Africa innovation ecosystem on research and development initiatives.
This visit reflects the gring interest of U.S. industry leaders in engaging with Africa’s dynamic agri-food sector, and aligns with AmCham Morocco’s mission to foster strategic bilateral partnerships that drive sustainable growth and innovation.
