We are excited to co-host with MA Waacking DO(ES) I(T) FIT ?, a contemporary dance solo by Hanane Soltani tomorrow at 7 PM.

Last March, this piece won the Ministery of Youth & Culture Prize “Bahia” at On Marche International Dance Festival. Before and following that achievement, she has been in residency with us , and tomorrow, we present the Work in Progress that emerged from that creative process.

Blending waacking and contemporary dance, DO(ES) I(T) FIT ? explores belonging, identity, and spiritual alignment through the body, asking: Do I fit this environment, this relationship, this society : or does it fit me?

The show is free and open to the public. No prior registration is allowed.

“This collection does not offer static answers. Instead, it serves as a space for dialogue, challenging the viewer to look beyond the “visible borders” of stereotypes. Here, the city, the body, and the story are reclaimed. Visual Voices captures what slips between the lines, transforming individual journeys into a collective, shared human memory.”

Join us for The Courage to Love, a talk and open dialogue with Quebec author, speaker, and humanitarian clown Guy Giard. Drawing from his autobiography, translated into four languages and introduced by Dr. Patch Adams, he shares a deeply personal journey through childhood adversity, resilience, and the conscious choice of happiness. With over three decades of experience across universities, hospitals, and cultural spaces around the world, Guy brings a unique, human approach to storytelling that blends emotion, humor, and reflection. This session moves beyond a traditional lecture, opening a space for sincere exchange where participants are invited to listen, share, and engage in a collective exploration of what it means to heal, connect, and choose joy.
The event is free but with limited spots.

We are excited to launch registration for  the Write It, Cut It, Paste It, Save It, a Collage Poetry Workshop with Walter Ancarrow. In this generative workshop, we will create collage poems using found text in different languages: newspapers, water bottle labels, package inserts, and other non-literary print. When disparate texts and languages are brought together, surprising connections occur, encouraging us to consider the visual, semantic, sonic, and cultural properties of words in new and strange ways. We will discuss how these chance encounters make space for creative writing. To guide our imaginations, we will look at collage poems from several well-known poets and learn how to turn everyday print material into expressive art.The workshop is free and open to the public. To sign up, fill out the form in bio.

Walter Ancarrow is the author of Etymologies (Omnidawn, 2023), a collection of poems in the form of an etymological dictionary that Cathy Park Hong called “glorious distillations of mischief and erudition.” He is also the editor, with an introduction, of The Selected Poems of John Whitworth, a career-spanning selection from the British poet’s eleven books (forthcoming 2026). Ancarrow is interested in colors, shapes, and questions of language, particularly the hidden social forces behind word use. In 2025, he received a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship in poetry. Walter is currently a resident at Nawat Fes.
