🤝 Signing of a Partnership Agreement with the National Commission for Personal Data Protection (CNDP)
The National Institute of Innovation and Advanced Technology (NIIAT) is pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP), today, Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Commission's headquarters in Rabat, through which the Institute joins the national program « DATA-TIKA ».
The agreement was signed by Mr. Abdellatif Belmkadem, President of the Institute, and Mr. Omar Seghrouchni, President of the National Commission.
This partnership stems from a firm conviction held by the Institute: there is no responsible innovation without safeguarding human privacy. The protection of personal data is not a constraint on progress, but the very foundation of trust upon which all genuine progress is built — which is why the Institute embeds the Privacy by Design approach at the heart of its programs.
🎯 Under this agreement, both parties commit to implementing a pilot phase in the Casablanca-Settat region over the coming six months, aimed at training no fewer than 20,000 young people in the fundamental principles of privacy protection — paving the way for scaling the experience nationwide. 🇲🇦
By joining this program, the Institute reaffirms its commitment to instilling a responsible and civic digital culture among young learners, educators, and partners, and to contributing to the national efforts led by the Commission — for a generation that places respect for privacy and digital ethics at the core of its practices.
🙏 We extend our sincere thanks to the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection for its trust, and to all our partners who support our mission to empower the youth of Morocco.
