ERHAM Erham in Arabic means 'Take Pity' or 'Be Compassionate'. Our main focus is sterilisation.

We're a small group of animal loving people from Azemmour, who along with our founder Anne Heslop (UK) aim to stop the suffering of local street animals.

Handicapped and abandoned on the rubbish tip, this boy has now been taken to the ERHAM House for Disabled cats. He was vaccinated while on the tip and then isolated until he could mix with the others. He has such a fighting spirit, but to operate on his leg we need to improve his general health and he never seems to put on weight. Hopefully things will turn around for him, but until then, he's in safe ERHAM hands!

MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!! Found unable to stand after being hIt by a car, this sweet girl (Amal) was rescued and taken to the ERHAM house for further diagnosis. Not only was her hind leg broken in 2 places, she also had a diaphragmatic hernia which meant an operation was very dangerous and not advisable. Vets feared she wouldn't recover but 2 months later she"s much improved, and thanks to pain killers, TLC and good food she's now walking again and is even starting to play! Sometimes, the best we can do is love them. ❤️

We have been working tirelessly to help the street animals in Azemmour, and have made a huge impact on their wellbeing. We have sterilised almost 2000 cats now! Allyson our faithful, wonderful, slightly mad (said with huge fondness) favourite volunteer is doing a 'WING-WALK next weekend to raise funds to support us! Can anyone add to the fund? I visited Jahmeel (now Jimmy) in his new home in the UK. Heather and Robert have been amazing and wasn't phased by him being a little reactive. He's improved so much and they love him to bits! He hadn"t seen me for 9 months, but he remembered me and his greeting was so ecstatic that I cried! Lucky lucky dog.

The RUBBISH TIP KITTENS benefit so much when the lactating females are vaccinated. Most of the mummy cats continue to Feed the orphans for weeks, even months after sterilisation, so to be able to vaccinate everytime we sterilise is AMAZING! The 8 week plus kittens are also vaccinated which encourages adoption. We are able to do this thanks to you - our wonderful supporters. ❤️ Please donate when you can!

4 MORE CATS STERILISED! The chicken and fish markets are now both controlled! All female cats are sterilised and vaccinated. There will be new arrivals, but we will act fast to stop kittens being born to suffer. ERHAM!
