Foundation Dar Si Hmad is driving local development with a focus on sustainable agriculture, water conservation, and eco-friendly farming practices in Southwest Morocco. In coordination with the local population (individuals, households, communities) the study, creation and consolidation of projects with a view to improving management of local resources. Opening-up the region to intercultural exch

ange by encouraging and valuing indigenous languages, cultures, histories, arts and artisanal practices (including the eventual creation of a museum). Encounters and interactions with our foreign partners, visitors and volunteers that allow for mutual enrichment and understanding between people of differing languages, religions and nationalities, and ultimately allows cultures to converse. Academic programs and research focused on the South of Morocco, promoting South-South partnerships, academic and institutional relationships in order to broaden understanding of the region (library, seminar cycle, and field-school classes).

WAITING 🌱
Sometimes, good things simply take time.
A seed grows quietly beneath the soil.
The land waits patiently for rain.
And fog arrives when the conditions are right.
Not everything happens at once.
Some things need time, patience, and the right conditions to grow.
Trust the process.
What is growing quietly today may become something beautiful tomorrow. 🌿

كاينين حوايج زوينين فالحياة،
ولكن كيحتاجو الوقت باش يكبرو.
الحبة كتطلع بشوية تحت التراب.
الأرض كتسنى الشتا بصبر.
والضباب كيجي ملي كتكون الظروف مناسبة.
ماشي كلشي كيوقع فـ نفس الوقت.
كاينين حوايج خاصهم الوقت، الصبر، والظروف المناسبة باش يكبرو.
تيق فالمسار.
داك الشي اللي كيكبر بهدوء اليوم،
يمكن غدا يولي حاجة زوينة بزاف. 🌿

WAITING / TIME
What if nothing is happening?
A seed underground is not doing nothing. 🌱
A landscape waiting for rain is not doing nothing.
Fog forming somewhere beyond the mountain is not doing nothing. 🌫️
We are accustomed to measuring time by what changes visibly.
But cycles have another rhythm: the time of becoming.
What looks like waiting may already be part of the next beginning.
Sometimes, nature is not still.
It is preparing.
What are you willing to wait for?

الانتظار / الوقت
واش إلا ما كان والو كيتبدّل، يعني ما كاين والو كيوقع؟
الحبة اللي مدفونة فالأرض ماشي ما كتدير والو. 🌱
الأرض اللي كتسنى الشتا ماشي ما كتدير والو.
والضباب اللي كيتكوّن من ورا الجبل ماشي ما كيدير والو.
حنا متعودين نقيسو الوقت على حساب داكشي اللي كنشوفو كيتبدّل قدام عينينا.
ولكن الطبيعة عندها إيقاع آخر: وقت التكوّن والاستعداد.
داكشي اللي كيبان لينا غير انتظار، يقدر يكون فالحقيقة جزء من بداية جديدة.
أحياناً، الطبيعة ما كتكونش ساكتة…
كتكون كتوجد لشي حاجة جاية.

Fondation Dar Si Hmad was pleased to take part in the National Day of Moroccans Residing Abroad, held on 10 August 2026 and organized by the Sidi Ifni Provincial Administration under the national theme:
“Moroccans Residing Abroad in the Service of Morocco’s 2030 Projects.”
The event brought together the Governor of Sidi Ifni Province, representatives of government departments, civil society organizations, local stakeholders, and members of the Moroccan community living abroad.
For Dar Si Hmad, the gathering provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives, strengthen relationships with local partners, and reflect on the important contribution of Moroccans residing abroad to local development and to the future of their regions.
We were particularly pleased to take part in a conversation that recognizes the enduring ties between Morocco and its diaspora, and the many ways in which these connections can contribute to the vitality and development of local territories.

مؤسسة دار سي حماد سعيدة بالمشاركة في اليوم الوطني للمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج، الذي نظمته عمالة إقليم سيدي إفني يوم 10 غشت 2026، تحت الشعار الوطني:
»المغاربة المقيمون بالخارج في خدمة أوراش المغرب 2030«.
وقد جمع هذا الحدث عامل إقليم سيدي إفني، وممثلي المصالح الحكومية، وفعاليات المجتمع المدني، والفاعلين المحليين، إلى جانب أفراد الجالية المغربية المقيمة بالخارج.
وبالنسبة لمؤسسة دار سي حماد، شكل هذا اللقاء فرصة قيّمة لتبادل وجهات النظر، وتعزيز العلاقات مع الشركاء المحليين، والتأمل في المساهمة المهمة للمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج في التنمية المحلية وفي مستقبل مناطقهم.

يخلد المغرب اليوم، 14 غشت، الذكرى 46 لاسترجاع وادي الذهب، وهي محطة بارزة في تاريخ المملكة المغربية.

Canada – Anishinaabe (Ojibwe)
The Anishinaabe name their moons according to the rhythms and ecological events of nature. August is often known as the Blueberry Moon, marking the season of gathering wild berries.
For the Anishinaabe, this month is not only about productivity, but also about gratitude. 🌿
The harvest is accompanied by offerings and thanksgiving, recognizing that the gifts of the land are something we receive — not something we own.

كندا – شعب الأنيشينابي (الأوجيبوي)
كيطلق شعب الأنيشينابي أسماء على الشهور مستوحاة من إيقاع الطبيعة والتغيرات البيئية. وغشت كيتعرف غالباً بـ قمر التوت الأزرق، حيث كيتزامن مع موسم جمع التوت البري.
بالنسبة لهم، هاد الشهر ماشي غير وقت الإنتاج والحصاد، ولكن حتى وقت الامتنان. 🌿
فموسم الحصاد كيرافقو طقوس الشكر والتقدير، حيث كيشوفو أن خيرات الأرض هدايا كنستافدو منها، وماشي ملكية ديالنا.
