The phoenix is a mythical fire bird that fiercely burns into ashes as it reaches (what would seem like) the end of its life, just to be reborn anew, as a young strong phoenix arising from its own ashes, taking another chance to have a better life... We chose the ability of the phoenix to be reborn from its own ashes, to resemble the power of the Libyan woman and her instinct to

transform the most difficult of circumstances into second chances, and possibilities of success.

العنقاء هي طائر خرافي و قد سميت بهذا الاسم لأنها تتميز بعنق طويل جميل. في نهاية حياتها، تحترق العنقاء فتتحول الى رماد ... و لكن سرعان ما تنهض من هذا الرماد عنقاء جديدة يافعة ... تولد من جديد لتعيش مرة اخرى... قدرة العنقاء على ان تولد من رمادها يمثل قوة المرأة الليبية و قدرتها على تحويل اصعب الظروف الى فرص ثانية و امكانية للنجاح..
