Under the distinguished supervision of the Minister of Justice, the Ministry of Justice of the Libyan Government of National Unity, in cooperation with No Peace Without Justice, is holding in the Tunisian capital from 28 November to 01 December 2025 a workshop entitled “Libya’s Path Toward International Standards: Workshop to Finalize the Main Human Rights Reports.”
The workshop aims to prepare the final versions of the reports addressed to four United Nations treaty bodies:

1. The Human Rights Committee.
2. The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
3. The Committee Against Torture.
4. The Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Members of the drafting committees that prepared the reports, a group of senior ministry officials, and experts from No Peace Without Justice are participating in this workshop.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the final versions of the four mentioned reports, along with the common core document, will be adopted before being submitted to the National Human Rights Committee in preparation for sending them to the relevant UN committees.
