في اليوم العالمي للشباب، لا نحتفل بفكرة الشباب - بل بأشخاص نعرفهم بأسمائهم.
نعرف من جلست في الصف الأول ولم تتكلّم في اليوم الأول، ثم وقفت تُدير جلسة كاملة في اليوم الأخير، ومن حوّلت بقايا بلاستيك إلى عمل فني وقف الناس أمامه طويلاً.
منذ 2019، عمل معنا نحو 8,000 شاب وشابة في 19 موقعاً في ليبيا. لم يأتوا ليتعلّموا كيف يهتمّون بل كانوا مهتمّين أصلاً.
كل ما احتاجوه كان مساحة آمنة، وباباً مفتوحاً.

On International Youth Day, we are not marking an idea. We are thinking about specific people.
The young woman who sat at the back on day one and facilitated the whole session by the end. The participant who filmed his first video on a borrowed phone. The one who turned discarded plastic into a piece that made a room full of strangers stop and look.
Since 2019, around 8,000 young people have worked with us across 19 locations in Libya. None of them needed to be taught to care; they already did.
What was missing was a safe space and a door someone was willing to open.
