The organization “Ilūkstes youth” participated in the international Erasmus+ project “EUROPENET 2026”, which took place in Poland Marianowka. The aim of the project was to strengthen cooperation between youth organizations, develop project management skills, and encourage young people’s participation in social and community activities, especially in rural and less developed areas. 😇
During the project, participants explored various topics such as youth work in rural and isolated areas, partnership building, international project development, NGO management, and the use of technology in project coordination. Each day included practical workshops, discussions, and teamwork activities where participants shared experiences and developed ideas for future cooperation. 💛
Also participants discussed the reality of youth projects in rural and isolated regions and learned about building effective partnerships. Focused on international project design and innovative ways to use Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps in working with young people with fewer opportunities. The activities were dedicated to governance in partnerships, decision-making, and cooperation standards, combined with a visit to the Kłodzko region. Focused on digital and technical tools for project management, communication, dissemination, and the exchange of good practices. 💫
In addition to the educational activities, the project also included cultural and networking events such as a city game, a bonfire evening, networking activities, and group trips. These experiences helped participants strengthen intercultural communication skills and create new international connections. 👋
