Digitālā pasaule attīstās ļoti strauji, tāpēc spēja atšķirt faktus no manipulācijām ir kļuvusi svarīgāka nekā jebkad agrāk. Lai risinātu šo problēmu, 12 aizrautīgi pieaugušo izglītības speciālisti no Polijas, Latvijas un Rumānijas nesen pulcējās Čenstohovā (Częstochowa), Polijā, uz intensīvu "Erasmus+" apmācību nedēļu (16/03/2026 - 21/03/2026), lai izstrādātu praktiskus aizsardzības mehānismus pret viltus ziņām.

Šīs apmācību nedēļas, ko koordinēja "Rajs Enterprise", galvenais uzsvars tika likts uz kultūras, teorijas un reālas rīcības apvienošanu. Tas viss norisinājās "Erasmus+" projekta "Medijpratība – kritiskās domāšanas atslēga" (Media Literacy – The Key to Critical Thinking, ID: 2024-2-PL01-KA210-ADU-000291364) ietvaros.

Mēs sākām tur, kur vietējais kultūras mantojums satiekas ar kritisko domāšanu – ar mācību vizīti ikoniskajā "Jasna Góra". Pēc tam, kad bijām izvērtējuši mūsu iepriekšējā projekta posma panākumus Rumānijā, mēs apvienojām savas daudzveidīgās starptautiskās prasmes, izmantojot "Suitcase" metodi. Jau otrajā dienā mēs padziļināti analizējām maldināšanas tehnikas, izmantojot "Faktu pārbaudes drāmas" vingrinājumus, un mācījāmies reāllaikā atspēkot dezinformāciju. Šo teorētisko darbu lieliski papildināja un ar reālo praksi sasaistīja laikraksta "Życie Częstochowy i Powiatu" galvenā redaktore Terēze Šajere, kura mums sniedza neatsveramu ieskatu vietējo mediju darbībā no iekšienes.

Taču pats spilgtākais nedēļas notikums bija ESC metodes pielietošana praksē tieši Čenstohovas ielās. Intervējot vietējos iedzīvotājus par to, kā viņi orientējas informācijas plūsmā, mēs apkopojām reālās dzīves datus.

Nedēļu noslēdzām ar darbnīcu par EPALE – Eiropas pieaugušo izglītības sirdi – un izstrādājām rezultātu izplatīšanas ceļvedi.

From Assessment to Action! 🚀🌿
On Wednesday, February 25th, the EYGC consortium came together for our first official online meeting dedicated to Activity 2!

After spending the last few months analyzing the ecological habits of European workplaces through our Activity 1 Green Audit, our teams from Latvia 🇱🇻, Lithuania 🇱🇹 and Norway 🇳🇴 are now laying the groundwork for our next major milestone: the NGO and SME Green Actions Generator.

If our first tool was about diagnosing your workplace's environmental footprint, Activity 2 is all about the solutions. We are currently digesting the report's findings and started to design an interactive digital tool that will help workplaces transition from passive assessment to active, daily green actions.

We are building a practical, algorithmic framework that will provide small businesses and organizations with concrete steps to improve their sustainability - covering everything from the 5Rs of Circular Economy to Digital Hygiene and Energy Efficiency.

🌿 EYGC Transnational Report Published & Activity 2 Kicks Off!
We are glad to announce a major milestone in the "Empowering Youth for Green Careers" (EYGC) Erasmus+ project! Following months of research and collaboration across the Baltics and Nordics, Activity 1 has officially concluded with the publication of our Transnational Report on Findings: https://eygc.eu/the-green-audit/

📊 What Did We Discover?
Our consortium - led by Latvijas jauniešu attīstības centrs (Latvia), alongside our partners Da Vinci Nordic (Norway) and Menų ir dizaino mokymo centras (Lithuania) - deployed a "Green Audit" to 155 respondents. The results gave us a look into the real-world operational habits of European workplaces. While we celebrate successes in "Digital Hygiene" across the board, the report uncovered critical vulnerabilities we must address to reach the goals of the European Green Deal.

🚀 What's Next? Straight into Activity 2!
With the data collected and the baseline set, we are wasting no time. We are immediately launching into the preparation phase for Activity 2: The NGO and SME Green Actions Generator.
Following week, our consortium is holding rapid-fire online preparatory meetings to digest the report's findings. We are laying the groundwork for an interactive digital tool designed to help workplaces transition from passive assessment to active, daily green actions. In early March, the entire consortium will meet in-person in Lithuania to build the algorithmic framework for our new Green Actions Generator.

No Rīgas līdz Bukarestei - Medijpratība kā demokrātijas vairogs! 🇱🇻🇷🇴🇵🇱🇪🇺

Tikko esam atgriezušies no spraigas un iedvesmojošas nedēļas Bukarestē, Rumānijā! ✈️ Erasmus+ projekta "Media Literacy - The Key to Critical Thinking" ietvaros mūsu komanda (LJAC) kopā ar partneriem no Polijas (Rajs Enterprise) un Rumānijas (Asociația Se Poate) aizvadīja četru dienu intensīvas mācības pieaugušo izglītotājiem.

🤔 Kas notika Bukarestē? Mēs ne tikai sēdējām lekcijās! Programma bija piepildīta ar praktiskām darbībām un pilsētvides izpēti:
✅ Dezinformācijas anatomija: Mācījāmies precīzi atšķirt misinformāciju, dezinformāciju un malinformāciju. Jā, tās ir dažādas lietas, un katrai nepieciešama sava pieeja! 🕵️‍♀️
✅ Pilsētvide un ilgtspēja: "Urban Green" tūrē pētījām, kā vide ietekmē mūsu uztveri un kā atpazīt "zaļmaldināšanu". 🌳
✅ Demokrātijas sirds: Apmeklējām iespaidīgo Parlamenta pili (Palace of the Parliament), lai runātu par demokrātisko noturību un to, kā institūcijas cīnās ar informatīvo karu. 🏛️

💡 Galvenā atziņa: Kritiskā domāšana nav tikai "viltus ziņu" atpazīšana. Tā ir spēja saprast, kā darbojas mūsu pašu smadzenes (kognitīvie aizspriedumi) un kā nepazust informācijas burbuļos.

The Erasmus+ project "Empowering Youth for Green Careers" (2025-1-LV01-KA210-VET-000359472) held a highly successful meeting in Riga, Latvia, in November 2025. Project leaders from Latvia, Norway and Lithuania convened for an intensive working summit to lay the foundational structure for their first major intellectual output.

The meeting focused on collaboratively designing the Self-Evaluation Questionnaire, a crucial digital tool intended to function as a Green Audit for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). This questionnaire, which will ultimately be available in 4 languages, is a direct response to the project's core objective: to drive the green transformation of workplaces by improving the quality of vocational education and training (VET). The team worked to define the thematic pillars of sustainability practices, ensuring the final tool is practical, actionable, and aligned with EU standards.

As an example of real-world learning, the consortium visited a local Riga workshop specializing in repair and reuse, gathering tangible inspiration for promoting circular economy practices.

The successful conclusion of this planning meeting marks the shift to the content production phase. The partners are now moving forward to finalize the questionnaire’s content and oversee the development of the IT tool, which will be launched for testing in the coming months.

🚀 We are thrilled to announce the official launch of our new Erasmus+ project, "Empowering Youth for Green Careers" (EYGC)! 🌱

Our international partnership, uniting Latvijas jauniešu attīstības centrs (Latvia) 🇱🇻, DA VINCI NORDIC (Norway) 🇳🇴 and Menų ir dizaino mokymo centras (Lithuania) 🇱🇹, has officially kicked off its work.

During our first online meeting, we laid the groundwork for our ambitious goal: to equip NGOs and SMEs with the tools they need to create greener, more sustainable workplaces. Our first major task is to co-create an innovative self-evaluation questionnaire that will empower organizations to audit their ecological footprint and inspire meaningful change.

This is just the beginning of an exciting 18-month journey. Follow us for updates as we work to build a greener future for vocational education and training!

Ar prieku paziņojam par būtisku soli Erasmus+ projekta “Media Literacy – The key to critical thinking” ietvaros: ir pabeigts un publiskots galvenais projekta rezultāts – Viltus Ziņu Mini-Ziņojums Polijā, Latvijā un Rumānijā. Šī publikācija ir intensīvas starpvalstu sadarbības kulminācija 2. darba paketē (WP2), un tā pamatā ir padziļināta analīze un praktiskas stratēģijas, kas izstrādātas Saulkrastos, Latvijā, rīkotajās apmācībās (no 2025. gada 1. līdz 6. septembrim). Mūsu organizācijai, “Latvijas jauniešu attīstības centrs”, bija gods uzņemt 12 pieaugušo izglītotājus, kuri caur interaktīvām darbnīcām un “Digitālo safari” apmainījās ar zināšanām par dezinformācijas izaicinājumiem.

Pateicoties šai pieredzei, Viltus Ziņu Mini-Ziņojums piedāvā ne tikai salīdzinošu analīzi par mediju manipulācijas specifiskajām izpausmēm trīs partnervalstīs, bet arī sniedz konkrētus, viegli pielietojamus ieteikumus un apmācību modeļus. Tas kalpo kā vitāli svarīgs resurss pieaugušo izglītotājiem un sabiedrībai, kas vēlas stiprināt kritisko domāšanu un efektīvi cīnīties pret viltus ziņām. Mēs lepojamies ar šo būtisko ieguldījumu medijpratības veicināšanā visā Eiropā.
