Ibn Sina Society - Muslim Students Riga 🪶 Assalaamu alaykum! Welcome to the Islamic Society of Rīga Stradiņš Univeristy. Ibn Sina is an official RSU Society established in 2013.

We aim to provide a platform for muslim students at RSU. At this society, we endeavour to create a multicultural environment for Muslim students by coming together and sharing their cultures and traditions. Our primary goal is to build bridges to other faiths and cultures, as well as becoming integral to Latvia.

Join us for a weekly gathering of knowledge, reflection, and brotherhood in “Our Circle of Fiqh” — a dedicated space for sincere students seeking a deeper understanding of Islam.

📍 Location: Ventspils iela 2 – Brothers Prayer Room
🕖 Time: Every Friday at 7:00 PM starting 17th April
👥 Attendance: Brothers only

In this circle, we will be studying Kitāb al-Ṣiyām (The Book of Fasting) in a structured and engaging way. Our approach includes:

• Exploring the rulings of fasting across the four madhāhib
• Understanding the evidences (dalīl) from Qur’an and authentic Sunnah
• Engaging in open discussions to strengthen comprehension
• Developing a deeper, practical fiqh-based understanding of worship

This is not just a class — it is a space to build clarity, conviction, and brotherhood through knowledge.

🌱 Join us for an inspiring and reflective evening centred around the concept of Tawbah — the sincere return to Allah. In a world full of distractions and shortcomings, Tawbah is the door that is always open, no matter how far one may feel.

This lecture will explore the reality of repentance, its conditions, its beauty, and how it transforms the heart. It is a reminder that Allah’s mercy is greater than our sins, and that every step back to Him is honoured and welcomed. 🤲

🇸🇾 This Ramadan, Ibn Sina Society together with the Syrian Student Association had the honour of working alongside the Molham Team to raise funds for food parcels for families in Syria.

Through your support, we hope we were able to contribute to ongoing efforts that provide not just aid — but dignity — to our Ummah.
