The Latvian Association of Conservators would like to express its sincere gratitude to the Estonian Association of Conservators (Eesti Konservaatorite Ühing) for the excellent organisation of the 14th Baltic States Triennial Conservators’ Meeting, held in Tallinn from 22–25 April 2026.
This year’s theme, “Connecting Histories: Conservation in a Shifting Landscape”, addressed questions that are highly relevant to the conservation-restoration and cultural heritage field today: how to preserve, interpret, and transmit cultural heritage values within a changing social, political, environmental, and technological landscape.
We are grateful to our Estonian colleagues for a thoughtful programme, inspiring lectures and presentations, meaningful professional discussions, visits to cultural heritage sites, and a warm welcome in Tallinn. We especially value the opportunity to meet colleagues from the Baltic region and beyond, to exchange experience, and to discuss not only successes, but also the challenges, lessons, and shared responsibilities that shape the depth of our profession.
The Baltic States Triennial Conservators’ Meeting remains an important platform for professional cooperation, strengthening our shared understanding of conservation-restoration, cultural heritage preservation, and the role of the conservator in society.
Thank you, Eesti Konservaatorite Ühing, for your dedication, hospitality, and contribution to strengthening the Baltic conservation community!
We look forward to meet You all again in Lithuania in 2029!
