This is the page initially created to share information about the Riga bid to host EUDC in 2018. In an incredibly tight battle we lost the honor to host EUDC in 2018, but we haven’t lost our determination to improve debating in Latvia and the region. We have made a lot of promises to ourselves and to others during the bidding process, and we have a plan of how to achieve these goals even without R
īga EUDC in 2018. While we won’t be bidding to host EUDC in the nearest future, the dream of bringing EUDC to Riga one day remains. We will maintain this page to keep you updated about our activities and the Latvian debating scene. And who knows, maybe a couple of years later a new team will finish what we started.
