Viena gada laikā mūsu StartSchool Batch 2 studenti ir radījuši 28 jaunuzņēmumus, un 8 no tiem jau piesaistījuši investīcijas vai gūst ieņēmumus.

Tieši tāpēc mēs StartSchool nemācām tikai programmēt. Mēs mācām savas idejas pārvērst reālos produktos un uzņēmumos.

Un tas nebūtu iespējams bez cilvēkiem un uzņēmumiem, kuri tic Latvijas nākamajiem tehnoloģiju talantiem.

At StartSchool, we invest a full week at the very beginning of the program in something just as important as tech and business skills: PEOPLE. 💙

Building trust, learning how to communicate, understanding different personalities, and creating the relationships that will carry our students through the next 12 months.

During Intro Week, Roberts Rubenis, Trainer and Program Director at Sense of Team, led a hands-on session on what it takes to build and be part of a high-performing team.

Because StartSchool isn’t only about what you learn. It’s also about the people you learn, build, fail, try again, and grow with.

This is what the beginning looks like. 🚀

Almost 90 people. One new Batch. A year of building, learning, failing, trying again – and becoming part of something much bigger than yourself.

The energy on Day 1? ⚡️ You had to be there.

New connections were already forming, big ambitions were put on the table, and one thing became very clear: a lot can happen in one year when you surround yourself with people who are ready to go for it.

Some will build startups. Some will discover entirely new career paths. Some might meet their future co-founders, teammates and lifelong friends.

And behind this journey is an incredible community of StartSchool founders and partners who make it possible – showing our students just how big they can dream.

Batch 3 is officially in motion. 🦄🔥

🚀 Batch 3, your StartSchool journey starts NOW!

Today, almost 90 new students started their first day at StartSchool.

They come from different backgrounds, with different experiences, ambitions, and ideas. But from today, they are Batch 3.

Our founders and partners welcomed them with plenty of inspiration – and a few challenges for the year ahead:

🔹 Dream big. Help us work towards the StartSchool mission of 10 unicorns in 10 years.
🔹 Get to know the people around you. Build the community that will celebrate the wins with you – and help you through the hard parts.
🔹 Take the opportunities that come your way.
🔹 Be brave enough to try something new. Fail. Learn. Try again.
🔹 And through it all – be good humans.

And many more well wishes and food for thought that we hope Batch 3 will carry with them throughout the year.

A special thank you to Raimonds Simanovskis, eazyBI, Ieva Driksna, Nutrameg, Maxence BOUQUET, Institut français de Lettonie | Francijas institūts Latvijā, Kārlis Eglītis, SEB Latvija, for being there today to welcome our students and share your experience, encouragement, and belief in what they can achieve.

Kā būtu, ja Tu savas idejas varētu ne tikai izdomāt, bet arī uzbūvēt? 💡💻

Kad Sandra Šmaliņa pievienojās StartSchool, viņai bija pieredze biznesā, konsultēšanā un projektu vadībā, bet programmēšanas pieredzes nebija.

Pirmais mēnesis bija grūts. Jaunās informācijas bija tik daudz, ka brīžiem šķita – ar visu nav iespējams tikt galā.

Bet tad kaut kas mainījās.

Ar komandas un mentoru atbalstu Sandra sāka saprast, kā viss darbojas. Un janvāra hakatonā viņa pirmo reizi pati uzbūvēja aplikāciju.

Šodien Sandra ir The Idea Unboxing idejas autore un dibinātāja – aplikācijas, kas palīdz citiem startup dibinātājiem attīstīt savas idejas.

💯 Viņas lielākais ieguvums no StartSchool? Ne tikai programmēšanas prasmes, bet spēja savienot startup veidošanas metodoloģiju ar tehniskajām zināšanām un pārvērst idejas reālos produktos.

Un Sandra jau dodas nākamajā piedzīvojumā. 🚀
